Great decision by the court. Shame on Saraki and those that supported his injustice. Congratulations to senator Omo-Agege.

The games is not over dude. If the court can recognize that the chamber can deal with their colleague as they dim fit, then how can the court now still give the same yard stick to nullify the suspension.....

Stop saying what you don't know. He attends the sitting pending when there is another court pronouncement saying otherwise.

That's the 14 days suspension spelt in the Senate constitution. However, such suspension of 14days would have also failed in the court of law because Nigeria does not operate with Senate constitution but with the constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria which does not empower a fellow Senator to suspend another Senator from sitting no matter the number of the days. Or can a senior Prefect suspend his fellow student from attending a school even if he had done wrong?

He can only remain suspended if the senate seeks for "stay of execution" and if the court will grant them. but for now as from tomorrow Omo Agege by law ceased to be suspended and he can resume seating
of course Senate always seek for stay of execution which the appeal court will grant

take this
Justice Nnamdi Dimgba was said to have added that the decision to punish Omo-Agage for filing a suit against the Senate and for punishing him was an affront on the judiciary and even if the Senate was to punish him, it could only do it for a period of 14 days as prescribed in the Senate rules.

Even if he makes it to the chambers, he will not be allowed to speak and his salaries and allowances remain suspended until the duration of the suspension. Let the court come and pay him. What happened to the criminals he brought to the Senate to caurse mayhem?

Stop making wild speculations..

The Senate is not peopled by toddlers or superficial thinkers like you.

An appeal must have been lodged immediately and the position of the law is that all parties maintain the status quo ante.

The Senate cannot sit without the principal officers meaning that if Saraki, Ekweremadu and others seem the ex parts order/ruling prejudicial to their position/interest, they will delay sitting until a countermanding ruling/order has been obtained to neutralize the earlier injunction.

My issue with you is that u will still join others to insult sarrki, omenka and madridguy for supporting Buhari.
If u can say this twice, then u should apologize to those names mentioned above because what is wrong is wrong.

This senate is becoming another thing and if they go against the court ruling then they should also apologize to the IGP for saying he's a threat to democracy.

And if the 'countermanding ruling/order' isn't obtained for say one month, they'll delay sitting for that long, right?

Imagine, delay sitting because they want to prove an inconsequential point much to the detriment of issues of national importance??

If it were the executive, would you have mooted same?

True, a prefect may not suspend his or fellow student, but you agree that he can still punish his fellow students.
