I am most confused on what this ceremony as all about among the Igbo people, i know the Efiks and the Ibibios has the culture.i am most worried to hear its also practiced in the Igboland. can anybody give an elaborate explanation of it in the igbo way

Never heard of its practice in igboland. I'm not Igbo though, so I guess that explains why.

Igbos do it? This is nice to hear. It shows no matter how we claim differences based on tribes we're all the same based on customs.

It's called "Mbopo" in Ibibio and Efik (Efùk).

There are several aspects of the borrowed culture amonst the Igbos and the Akwa-Cross folks (Ibibio, Annang, Oro, Efik).
