Downside: Hell.

Benefits of Christianity: No pornography, no fornication, no abortion, no adultery, no homosexuality, no lying, no blasphemy, no guilt, no fear, no Hell, and everlasting life with pleasures that make the pleasures of this world look like the bottom of a trash bin.

Downside: There isn't one.
