Supporting Documents to Study in Canada.
The supporting documents listed below are the most commonly required in Canada though the documents required for individual universities and courses may vary.
• A duly filled application form - online or a soft copy (as applicable)
• Attested photocopies of academic documents
• 10th, 12th Mark sheets and Certificates
• Graduation: Mark sheets of each semester/year and the degree certificate
• A Letter of Intent
• Evidence of English Language Proficiency - IELTS/TOEFL score card (Notary attested)
• Resume/CV
• Statement of Purpose (if applicable)
• Two academic references
• Passport sized photographs
• Portfolio (for Art, Design & Architecture Courses)
• Other Certificates & Achievements of Extracurricular Activities
• Copy of the first and the last page of Passport (Notary attested)
• Application fee payment details (Credit card details or Bank transfer receipt)
• Work Experience Certificate (If any)
• Two references from employers (where applicable)
• Valid Student visa

Apart from the above list you also need the following documents to apply for a study permit.

-Proof of Financial Support

-Documents to prove your funds
• Proof of a Canadian bank account in your name, provided you have transferred money to Canada
• Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from a participating Canadian financial institution
• Proof of a student/education loan from a bank (If you have taken any)
• Your bank statements for the past four months
• A bank draft that can be converted to Canadian dollars
• Proof of tuition and housing fees payment
• A letter from the person or school giving you money or
• Proof of funding paid from within Canada, if you have a scholarship or are in a Canadian-funded educational program.

If the government that issued your passport or travel document needs you to have a re-entry permit, you must get it before you apply for a Canadian visa to Study in Canada.
