Should Jonathan Contest? Why? by Adonike(m): 10:51am On May 24, 2010
The controversies rocking the political ambition of our dear President have left much to 'yan'. Political Big Boys like Obasanjo, Gowon, etc. Had offered him advice base on one synonymous topic that He SHOULD NOT CONTEST THE 2011 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. Others said that he should rather go as a running mate unto other aspirant. But come to think of it, Is Jonathan not qualified to be voted for (contest)? Is he not a Nigerian, is Jonathan not bouyant enough to grab the tickect of other political party other than PDP? With all these right and more, should Jonathan contest or follow the thoughts of the Godfathers?

Should Jonathan contest? Only Jonathan and his handlers can answer  that.

Is he permitted to contest? Nigerian constitution says YES . . . .PDP constitution says what no one could quite workout nor can anyone say exactly when the PDP rule began to apply if it does exist.

If anybody says to you that Jonathan Contesting or Not Contesting will cause violence or amagedon tell them to stop spreading fear and grow up.

If anyone is saying he shouldn't run just to please our moronic Northerners then he should go ahead run. Enough of the intimidation and cowardice. Let the North do its worst then.
