Popular Nigerian music superstars, Davido and Tiwa Savage have been nominated for the 2018 BET awards in the Best International Act category.
The 2018 BET award is scheduled to hold on Sunday, June 25, 2018, at the Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles, California, United States.
The organizers have rolled out the list of nominations for the respective categories and the one that sticks out is the category for Best International Act, Music which sees the two Nigerian superstars against a strong lineup of artists across the world.

PAN-ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY PARTNER AFRINOLLY ON SHORT COURSES FOR CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURS
The School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, in partnership with Afrinolly Limited, have come together to create three short courses targeted at aspiring creative digital media content producers.
According to available information, these intensive hands-on and practical courses will run for 96 hours over a three month period. The programme oûers both full-time and part-time options, while the classes will hold at both the Afrinolly Creative Hub and Pan-Atlantic University Main Campus at Ibeju-Lekki.

For most foreigners who have heard about the exploit of Nollywood as the second largest producer of home video in the world, it was an opportunity to know how the film industry evolved from the pre-colonial era to what today, has become the leading motion picture industry in Africa.
A documentary produced by Golden Effects for the Lagos Tourism tells it all in six minutes, to visitors at the Lagos State Pavilion, at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.

CANNES FILM FESTIVAL SIGN CHARTER TO BRIDGE GENDER INEQUALITY
The Cannes film festival signed a charter Monday vowing to push for parity between men and women by 2020.
The world’s top festival also promised to be more transparent in its selection process after facing years of criticism over the lack of women directors in its main competition.
The pledge was drawn up by the French gender-parity group 50/50 by 2020, which brought in other groups including Time’s Up.

MR EAZI SIGNS LICENSING DEAL WITH COLUMBIA RECORDS UK
Ace Nigerian Musician, Mr. Eazi has announced the signing of a licensing deal with international platform Columbia records UK.
The singer announced the deal via an Instagram post.
The post reads; “Yesterday in my New Vehicle! As CEO of my Label #BankuMusic, I signed a licensing deal with @ColumbiaUK .
