Hobbies, especially great ones, are very important in life.</h1>
They are one of the basis of a balanced and fulfilled life. In a world where we are sometimes forced to do things for others, hobbies give us the opportunity to satisfy ourselves for once.

Hobbies are also relaxing and relieve depression and anxiety. Here are a list of hobbies scientifically proven to reduce anxiety and depression:
**1. Crafts:** When depression sets in, it can be almost impossible to get motivated. Starting a craft can be an excellent way to get your vibe back. A simple art project can go a long way and turn into something big. There Re many crafts that you can try on your own. It's always more satisfactory to start by creating something for yourself or family.

**2. Singing:** Singing is one of the most soothing hobbies on the planet. It feels so good to sing; whether you have the voice or not. Who hasn't felt uplifted when singing along to their favorite song? You can use the effect singing has in you to relieve yourself of anxiety and depression. If you have ever fancied learning a musical instrument, this can be a good reason to start.

**3. Biking:** Hop on your bike and feel the breeze slapping into your ears. Biking reduces anxiety in so many ways. Getting out of the hose can increase your vitamin D level. Low level of vitamin D have been linked to depression. Researchers at Stanford University discovered that people who walk for 90 minutes in nature (as opposed to high traffic urban settings) were less likely to worry.

*4. Photography:** Photography is another beautiful way of exploring the world. Especially when you're looking through the lens of the camera; it allows you to view the world in a different way. If you usually have negative mentality, photography is worth trying. Photography is also a great way to record and remind yourselves of good and beautiful things in life.

**5. Dancing:** Dance is beautiful. It helps you express yourself without talking. Dancing is also a great way to relieve stress, anxiety and depression. When you dance, you will feel happy. Dancing also gives you an active mind to get ready for the day.
