autojosh: Rolls-Royce is the ultimate luxury machine. It epitomizes sophisticated design with immaculate attention to detail. Its luxury finishing touches combine with a first class experience for driver and passenger to deliver new levels of exclusivity which the brand’s elite customers crave.
To acquire a Rolls-Royce, it would require parting with a considerable amount of money.
In Nigeria, two popular men of God are privileged to own this luxury-on-wheel. Well, the number would have been three had Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of the Omega Power Ministries, OPM, not declined to accept a Rolls-Royce birthday gift to him by members of his congregation. Anyway, here are two clergymen who clearly have the anointing for accepting birthday gifts of Rolls-Royce.
Pastor Chris Okotie
Pastor Chris Okotie is one clergy that loves the good life.
This several times Nigerian presidential aspirant has never been shy to demonstrate his love for luxury cars.
The debonair pastor in charge of the Ikeja-based Household of God’s Church International Ministries owns several luxury cars. His garage features cars like Hummers, Range Rover Autobiography, Mercedes Benz, BMW, etc.
In 2013, the former pop-star acquired for himself a 2014 Bespoke Phantom Coupe, Series 2. The car costs him a staggering N80million.
According to him, it was a birthday and an anniversary gift to himself to celebrate his 27th year as a pastor and 30 years as a born again Christian.
The flamboyant preacher is known to mostly drive himself, typically in a convoy of cars driven by security details.
Bishop Tom Sampson
Bishop Tom Sampson is the flamboyant Bishop of Christ Royal Family International Church.
He made news at a point for his acquisition of a stretch Hummer SUV.
Indeed, he sees absolutely no reason why he should not live the life of a royalty. And in living up to the royal status, he received a gift of a car befitting of royalty – a custom-built 2014 Rolls-Royce. It was a gift from some members of his congregation. It was in celebration of his 50th birthday on December 2015.
Bishop Tom Sampson is the founder of Royal City College of Education, Iyesi-Ota, Ogun state.

There’s something obscene about sailing in such an insane amount of expensive toys while surrounded by the scum of the earth who can’t afford three square meals a day |

(Sahih International) O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah . And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment.

Holocene: Jesus never had even a donkey. He had to rent a horse during his triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Not that he couldnt afford it. Check out, h3 made Peter pull out money from a newly caught fish to pay their tax na you rent the donkey for him |

HigherEd:
Actually he doesn't own a rolls Royce, he uses a sonata and a jeep.
There needs to be moderation in the Pentecostal bloc of Christianity.. Some certain things are just not necessary. Not all churches should require usage of jets. As per vehicles there is no need to go for the most exotic. Something functional but trendy is still ok. Why go for the most expensive and exclusive vehicles. As papa Hagin would say when it comes to the prosperity message there is a thin line between the permissible and objectionable. |

EzendiEgo1: Which way Nigerians
According to him, it was a birthday and an anniversary gift to himself to celebrate his 27th year as a pastor and 30 years as a born again Christian. 30yrs and this man bought a car that cost 80M I don't have anything to say on your case
But for that idiot man (Tom Sampson) that took pic with his Roll-Royce without any shame in him to see ...is not proper for him to take the pic while a small boy is hawking beside him
God will Judge you guys
The day Igbo pastors will have sense, it will be well with them.
Is it the igbo pastors that are the problem? I would've thought it's the Yoruba ones that are the problem, those are the most unrepentant thieves. Fear Yoruba pastors, especially those from ogun state. |
