Focus: Acknowledging Your Weakness

WORD FOR TODAY
To receive help at any level of life, you must acknowledge your weaknesses. Grace will only be made available for the humble and not the proud!!!

"God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it)" (James 4:6b AMP)

When a man is weak and claim to be strong then he is proud. The greatest opposition to every man who is proud is God himself. By all standard, every man created by God has a weakness.

Therefore, do not hesitate to acknowledge your weaknesses each time it tries to bring you down. It is in acknowledging it before God that help will be made available for you.

At the wedding in Cana of Galilee, they acknowledged their problem before Jesus when they ran out of wine and they received divine help (John 1). The sons of the prophets acknowledged the fact that their place of meeting is too small for them and grace was made for them (2King 6:1).

Help is readily available for you if you acknowledge your weaknesses before God. There is no other way to death than to prove to be strong when you actually need help.

Prayer Point:
Lord! I am weak but you are strong; make grace available for me in every area of my incapacitation in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Main Emphasis:
It is only the man who asks for help that will receive help. Until you involve God in the affairs of your life, there will be no intervention!!!
