JOB VACANCY : PAINT PRODUCTION MANAGER (MAY”18)

Our partner is a world leader in the production of industrial paints and coatings (in Ghana) need to recruit from Nigeria a PAINT PRODUCTION MANAGER to run the production facilities cost effectively, efficiently and safely.

Only a Nigerian candidates who have experience in industrial paints, coatings and chemicals will be considered.

The prospective employee must be able to live and work in Ghana (the company will be responsible for the cost of recolation and work permit).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Manage the 24x7 production of industrial paints and coatings in a safe and efficient environment and implementing improvements to processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
 Manpower, resource and raw material planning and management
 Production and cost planning and management
 Plant and equipment planning and management
 Ensuring all production meets quality assurance standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

 HND/BSc in Sciences (preferably in Chemical Engineering , Bio-Chemistry or Industrial Chemical, Petroleum Chemical Engineering)
 Vast years of experience in industrial paints engineering and production, Formation of Formulae for Quality Paints.
 Working knowledge of petrochemicals
 Extensive knowledge of manual batch process production and working in a chemical reactors production environment to high pressure and temperatures
 Working knowledge of colour and composition formulation, tinting and mixing processes
 Strong leadership and management skills
 Excellent communication skillsfluent in written and verbal English
 Computer literate
 Working knowledge of industry standards including ISO, NEBOSH and API certifications Candidate Profile
 Nigerian Male (Yoruba preferable); Aged between 25 - 40 years
 Speaks good English
