1st you need to check if its s-off

cheapgoals:
M10 want upgrade to 7.0

Use ota update, goto settings-about-software update
N.B make sure your bootloader is not unlocked and if its rooted you have to unroot it

1st you need to check if its s-off

He doesn't necessary need to be s-off, if the bootloader is unlocked he's good to go.....

If you bought this phone ur current htc m8 london used or American used there's a possibility that your bootloader is unlocked or you are s-off

It seems someone unlocked your bootloader before you got the phone, or the device is rooted.... Better not update the phone you will end up in a bootloop

Either you unroot the phone then relock your bootloader...... But 1st is your phone rooted?
