Donwyz: @ bold; I guess your comment was based on the fact that he was replaced. it was Troost Ekong that left the defence for Leon Balogun. I didn't see Troost Ekong in the first half. 1 Like |

Kylekent59:God bless you for this!!! we have a mediocre orientation in this country, when the match ended, a guy told me nigeria tried and assuming we turned up in the first half, we could have avoided defeat, and this is the same mindset of 80% of people i watched the ball with, is it a crime if we win england? for christ sake, that england team is average at best but it seems we have already lost the game before it even started, most people does not have winning mentality in this country, they are just contented with mediocrity................. and by the way, with the display of onazi and joel obi today, assuming we are in a country like north korea , both of them would be sent to labour camp for four months while they learn ball control and simple passing from 6-8am every morning, before they start their punishment for the rest of the day. 8 Likes |

Why is the nigeria team getting bad vibes from some people when the real MVPs of olodo played out a goaless draw against that portugal without cr7 ? Bunch of bottle jobs who really believe they are twice as good as their hype machines rate them . Useless lots (looking at you cotouis , hazard lukaku et al ) who think they are better than the best in the game already but always turn on the coach when the poo that is their collective failures hits the fan (wilmots , mourinho , now conte , matinez loading ) . Odds of nigeria scoring against england in wembly; 2 . 00 . Odd of 'superstar eleven' beating ronaldoless portugal in brussel ; 1 . 86 , Need i tell you who among the two stake ruined good money for yours truly ? Golden generation ? 'Spits' . Now you just watch them exit the tournament from the hands of peru or iceland , rubbish ! Rants over ! |

Magjoel: No he was jittery, rushing out untimely which on a good day will have cost two penalties. Anyway we don't have better so we just have to make do. That is the penalty for failing to develop a proper backup for Vincent Enyeama all those years. When things work out we relax and fail to develop. Sports is a continuum and the talent pool requires constant replenishment but we generally lack that foresight. |

collinometricx: No If Nigeria beats Croatia and Iceland- 6 pts Argentina beats Nigeria and Iceland- 6 pts Croatia beats Argentina and Iceland- 6 pts Iceland loses all 3 games- 0 pts All the top 3 teams beats Iceland and one other top 3 team each. So they all won 2 and each lost one to another top 3 team while Iceland loses all 3. This scenario has occured countless times in competitions and the top two teams are then decided in the order of: goal difference, disciplinary records and, in rare cases, a straight PK shootout or coin toss. You obviously lack more than just comprehension. What players do u have in super eagle's team disciplined enough to play back 3 system with? You played it against a weak legged Argentinean side and you got exposed till the formation got reverted to 4 at d back. I need not discuss football with your likes. Just play back 3 in world cup and we'll see who the charlatans are. I doubt you know Ogu to have suggested he should be played in a back 3 formation. If only England had punished you, jst maybe your eyes might have opened. Why not play mikel at the back in a back 3 system? dabossman: |
