does money have to be involved in all award?

Yes, because that is the only thing that will make that old man appreciate the award.

It was a joyful moment for a dedicated traffic warden, Mr Friday Opurum who has been reportedly active at D-line in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state for the past 20 years. In recognition of his selfless service to Rivers State, the popular traffic warden was yesterday decorated with the Rivers State Merit Award (RSMA) by governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.

The traffic warden so was excited to be specially recognized by the governor that he had to give him a big hug to delight of others at the event.

The award ceremony was held at the Alfred Diete Spiff Sports Complex.

I Know One In Calabar Mostly Around Mary Slessor And Another In Uyo. But Governors In These States Would Rather Embezzle Than Recognise Meritorious Service Rendered By Selfless Citizens
