One of the leading providers of bulk SMS and mobile marketing services in Nigeria, eStoreSMS.com, has launched its latest suite of mobile marketing solutions for the Small and Medium Enterprises.

The Chief Executive Officer, Vogue Web Solutions, Michael Simeon, stated that the new platform featured instant airtime top-up, mobile data recharge and voice call services at affordable rates.

While speaking at the launch, Simeon noted that the SMS was one of the most attractive ways to reach customers with time sensitive information in Nigeria.

He expressed confidence that political aspirants would also benefit immensely by using the services to reach their target audience in the coming elections, adding that they could send pre-recorded voice messages and the SMS broadcast to their electorate, especially those in rural areas.

Simeon, who stated that the SMS outperformed other channels, while highlighting the impact of social and mobile platforms, noted that 65 out of 100 people open the SMS messages within five minutes of receiving, whereas other channels could only boast of less than 20 per cent open rate.

Also commenting on the new platform, the Co-founder and Chief Operations Officer, Vogue Web Solutions, Ojikutu Quam, described the platform as an income generation kit.

He stated that entrepreneurs could now make additional income as resellers of the services by selling airtime to other people.

Quam said, “Each eStoreSMS user can monetise their four per cent discount by dispensing airtime at full price from their own account, while business owners that have website can automate this process by integrating with eStoreSMS.com via API or by adding a widget to their website.”

Speaking at the event, the Operations Manager, Vogue Web Solutions, Temitope Olanrewaju, said the eStoreSMS.com had key differentiating features that most bulk SMS companies in Nigeria could not compete with.

According to him, the instant airtime top-up and mobile data recharge option that support more than 760 telcos globally make it easy to recharge for oneself and loved ones.

He added that users would also get four per cent discount on every airtime and bulk SMS purchased on the platform.

Speaking further, Olanrewaju said the technology that powered the platform would support the SMS delivery to numbers active on ‘do-not-disturb’ via its corporate route services.

He noted that users could send broadcast messages with custom sender ID, thereby making it easy for the recipient to recognise the sender of the message.

See Reasons Why You Shouldn't Subscribe To DND (Do Not Disturb)

This thread is to enlighten people about DND and how subscribing to it can be a bad decision.

This have its advantages, but believe me the disadvantages is higher to the advantage.

It's obvious that those who really disturb our cell phones are the network providers, this is because you will hardly block their messages unlike other short code service you can use your call and message blocker app to silent forever.

What exactly is DND?

The Do-Not-Disturb service allows customers to opt out of receiving promotional messages for 3rd Party services (Bulk SMS, VAS promos, etc.)

Are promotional messages for MTN services included in DND?

NO. DND service will only be introduced for 3rd party services e.g. VAS, Bulk SMS etc.

We all know that we receive a lot of important messages starting from our church, wedding, school, Job interview, events etc.

What Nigerians really need is a block or DND which will also give option to option out of network providers promo messages.

Dont miss out crucial information just because of DND.

The best way to avoid unsolicited messages and calls is to use call and message blocker app.

You have to understand this before taking action on their DND to avoid missing out a lot of information been passed on daily basis.

Optioning out or subscribing to DND simply means you will not receive all messages sent to your line using bulk SMS and other third party application which maybe important to you.

NCC and the rest misinformed us, what we really need is an option to option out of network providers unsolicited messages and calls.

Pass the information across.
