England have stepped up preparations for the world cup and would take the first step towards the football showpiece event when they face Nigeria on Saturday in an international friendly.

Both countries, who would be in Russia in June, would square up at the Wembley stadium as they prepare for their world cup campaign.

The Three Lions' strikers have been practicing their shooting ahead of the Nigeria friendly and continued this on Wednesday.

Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, Arsenal's Danny Welbeck and Tottenham's Harry Kane all took turns to test the English goalkeeper.

Dele Alli and Raheem Sterling also joined in the training as the players took shots from inside the box.
