I bought Toyota corolla 2010 model, South African spec. The former owner used manual ac compressor, which used to make the engine shake during ac use and most times the engine stalled. Just that by now I have changed automatic compressor 3 times which got grinded after 3days of each installment.
At some point the ac technician alleged that my engine heats and spoiled the compressors. He would always only flush the system and install the compressors but they didn't last.
Pls I need a long lasting and permanent solution to my ac problem.
Gazzuzz and others. Please to my aid, I plea.

Get a brand new compressor and condenser and flush the system before installing.

Purchase a brand new compressor & condenser . (It costs only 180k & 70k corolla parts are cheap ) If you don’t do this,your AC problems will definitely be long lasting.

I'll wait for gurus to help you out as this one pass me but i do have the compressor in stock(Denso) & well guaranteed.

What ever condenser you are buying make sure it's OEM. Aftermarket type would not work effectively well on that system

Obviously you will need to buy a new compressor, but ensure that the auto rewire disconnects your AC from "direct" connection as we call it. Compressors are designed to halt for a bit when its almost freezing but this is only triggered with the use of a thermostat. If it's not installed it will definitely freeze and as such damage its internal component. Let the auto rewire trace the default connection for the AC, I'll advise a new condenser to ease the flow of gas in the new compressor.

goan buy 'Peugeot 508' compressor, manual for dat matter. It can be serviced. Get a good technician or kazeem to do d base for u and install d system.
And this compressor can be serviced.

I had such experience, had to spend almost 104k to get and fixed d factory spec compressor, condenser, dryer, and d rest, less Dan 6 months it fried up. (2014)
I kept fixing and it kept failing
I tried manual one, from den till now, I still dey use am. engine idles fyn. (2016)

All d same, it is ur decision to take
if u get a gud technician, fyn.
If u get a bad one, na Problem.
