It is what happens when the citizens of a country are not selfish but instead commit to making their country better than how they found it. We can begin to build and create things like China if we stop stealing from ourselves; if we are willing to sacrifice for the benefit of our fellow citizens that we don't know or who come from ethnic groups other than ours. Until then, we shall remain in this state of hopelessness and helplessness, sadly.

Yes, the same God created everyone. But China is where they are today because they've made a conscious effort to develop their country.

Chinese people don't steal monies from their country and take it to Dubai or England to buy houses that they would never live in, like Nigerian politicians do. They don't steal their own resources and stack them in bank accounts in other peoples country, like our government officials do.

Qualified Chinese people hold key government offices where they make good and sound decisions, whereas we practice zoning and tribalism which results in the dumbest people ruling over Nigeria.

And most importantly, China has the death penalty as punishment for corruption. Until we imitate them in these areas, it would continue to seem God created us differently, when in fact our problems and inabilities are self-induced.

willful refusal to copy the best tenets of our imported system of government (democracy) and the imported religions,
and a general hypocritical culture are some of the issues that afflict us as a people.

If we continue to ignore these flaws but instead act as though everything is okay, probably because you have stolen generational wealth from your time as President, Governor, Senator, or other public office you've held, then our country Nigeria shall remain in the ashes of civilization.

Sad to say, but being a Nigerian in 2018 is shameful and hopeless!
