Joachim Low has named his 23-man Germany squad for the country's World Cup defence this summer in Russia.
There are two major pieces of news as the coach aims to defend the title which they won in Brazil.

Despite missing most of the 2017/18 season with injury,
Manuel Neuer has made it, while Leroy Sane misses out despite a stellar season with Manchester City.
The squad in full is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Manuel Neuer (Bayern), Kevin Trapp (PSG), Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Barcelona)

Defenders: Marvin Plattenhardt (Hertha), Jonas Hector (Koln), Matthias Ginter (Gladbach), Mats Hummels (Bayern), Niklas Sule (Bayern), Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea), Jerome Boateng (Bayern), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern).

I think FIFA should come up with a rule that can allow countries borrow players other countries left out of their world cup squad for no reason. Imagine Sane playing 4 naija

None of the forwards is as dangerous and as inform as Sane. Sane is a Man in a boy so it shouldn’t be because of his age. Even though, he should atleast get worldcup experience, who knows, he could have been the next Gotze. This is how great men like Low.J start to fall.
