Jesus Aveves The Wolf Man Jesus Aceves is arguably the most famous real-life werewolf and comes from a rural Mexican family in which twenty-four members suffer from this rare trait to a degree. The family was saved from poverty by a circus promoter who put them to work in a freak show, and now Jesus travels the world showing off his mutation. Mr Aceves has three daughters, all of whom have been born with the condition. All have struggled to find work, despite the oldest graduating from high school. 1 Like

Tim Cridland Could endure anything pain or pain related Tim specializes in sword swallowing, fire walking, sleeping on beds of nails (once even with a Toyota over him), Tim was born with a mutation that makes it so he doesn't feel pain the way normal people do. It's not that Tim and his ilk can't feel anything, because they can feel when they are touched, and they can feel temperature. They simply do not register pain thanks to malfunctioning receptors in the nerve cells that tell your brain 1 Like 1 Share

The man with infinite endurance Dean Karnazes is an American ultramarathon runner whose body does not exhibit signs of physical exhaustion. Thanks to a rare genetic condition, he can run for extended distances without stopping. His body rapidly flushes lactic acid—which causes muscle fatigue and soreness—before it builds up in his system. He once ran for 350 consecutive miles, foregoing sleep for 3 days straight. His latest achievement was running 50 marathons, in all 50 US States, in 50 consecutive days, ending with the New York Marathon which he completed in 3 hours flat. 3 Likes 2 Shares

Gary Turner There’s a wide array of elastic superheroes—with Mr. Fantastic being the most famous—capable of transforming their rubbery bodies into any number of shapes. The real-world equivalent of Mr. Fantastic is Garry Turner, who can stretch and manipulate his skin in a number of extremely unsettling ways because his skin doesn’t contain the right amount of collagen. 1 Like

Al Herpin The Man Who Has Never slept After a few days without sleep an average human being will probably collapse, but this wasn’t the case for Al Herpin who apparently did not sleep during his ninety-four years of life. Even though the supposed cause is unknown, some scientists believe that his sleep deprivation was linked to his mother suffering a major injury a few days prior to his birth. He’s remembered even today as the “man who never slept.” 1 Share

Daniel Tammet's Incredible Brain Daniel Paul Tammet is a British high-functioning autistic savant gifted with a facility for mathematical calculations, sequence memory, and natural language learning. He was born with congenital childhood epilepsy.Experiencing numbers as colors or sensations is a well-documented form of synesthesia, but the detail and specificity of Tammet’s mental imagery of numbers is unique. In his mind, he says, each number up to 10,000 has its own unique shape and feel, that he can “see” results of calculations as landscapes, and that he can “sense” whether a number is prime or composite. He has described his visual image of 289 as particularly ugly, 333 as particularly attractive, and pi as beautiful. Tammet not only verbally describes these visions, but also creates artwork, particularly watercolor paintings, such as his painting of Pi. 1 Share

The magnetic man He had the amazing ability to make objects stick “magnetically” to his skin, and now he’s added car-pulling to his repertoire. After reading an article about a family in Taiwan who possessed such power, he says he took several iron objects and put them on his abdomen, and to his surprise, all the objects including an iron, stuck on his skin and didn’t fall down. Since this “gift” is also present in three of his sons and two grandchildren, he figures it’s hereditary.
