Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has reportedly revealed that he quit the Santigo Bernabeu over disagreement with president Florentino Perez on summer transfer signings that includes the likes of Manchester United’s David De Gea and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.



Zidane was alleged to be eager to land the Belgian from the Premier League as he attempt to stage a comeback on the domestic front after playing second fiddle to Bacelona last term.

Sadly, Perez did not offer the manager the needed support to seal the deal, instead told the Los Blancos boss informed Zidane that long Spanish target, David De Gea, who will be out of contract at Old Trafford next summer, will be heading to the Bernabeu this summer.


Surprisingly, that position that did not go down well with the former World Cup winner who insisted that he was satisfied with the inputs of Keylor Navas.

According to UK Mirror report citing sources at the UK Sun, the Frenchman in the heat of the moment was alleged to have told Perez that he was ready to quit the Galaticos manager’s job. “I am done. You take care of the team.”

He resigned because he followed the principle of bowing out when the ovation is loudest. He doesn't want to dent his record at the club. It was a wise decision.
