Speaking to the media after the presentation of a programme for the World Cup, Madrid defender Sergio Ramos defended his performance during the Champions League final, arguing he did not injure two of Liverpool’s players.

Ramos has received numerous criticism since May 26, after his collision with Mohamed Salah left the Egyptian forward with a shoulder injury that compelled him to withdraw 30 minutes into the final.

In addition, after American doctors confirmed that goalkeeper Loris Karius had in actual fact suffered a concussion during a separate collision with Ramos, that criticism has risen significantly.
