Harry potter and whatever is being discussed here clearly does not have any religious leaning.

I read the only harry potter book "Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban" at 20 yrs of age. never seen any of the movies although I've seen a lot of their trailers.


Didn't really learn anything from it and I found the plot involving the spell Hermione Granger used to turn back time so as to take more courses which she eventually used to save Hagrid's Hippogriff from McNair the executioner really disappointing. this just prevented me taking the series any seriously but its possible my mistake is reading the third book, perhaps if I started at 1 I might've been more receptive of the series

Mynd44 and seun, where do you get the idea that Harry Potter has no right to be in the religious section? Have you not read the books? Are you not aware that JK Rowling was using the Jesus template and his fight over evil in the narrative of her books?

I humbly request that you move this thread back to the religious section where it belongs, and I demand an apology for moving it in the first place without consulting me!
