The soup itself is barely visible; I guess this is the modern format cos here, every swallow you're making, meat or fish will follow it. Well done. I loathe Okro soup sha. |

Follygunners: Ignorance of the highest order. Okro is an Igbo word and Okro soup is 100% an Igbo soup. It was and is still so popular amongst the Igbo’s that the slaves took it across the Atlantic to the America’s. People in the Southern United States use it in their gumbo and they call it Okra which is a mispronunciation of/and comes for the word Okro. The English word for Okro is Lady Fingers. Next time stick to your Ila asepe or whatever you call that your slimy puke worthy soup. Okro is and will forever be ours. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Phut: Fool! No wonder ur tribe is the weakest in values, norms and ethics. I can as well go to wikipedia to edit the narrative. In Yoruba, we call it 'ila', westerners gave it the 'okra' name and in ur dumb language nko? E no get. Useless pple with no origin claiming Jew. Olofo. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Follygunners: And okro ultimately comes from Igbo okwuru. That’s not open for discussion by the way. Man’s waiting for you to claim ogbono soup next. 2 Likes |
Re: Quick And Easy OKRO Soup! by Follygunners: 3:59pm On Jun 07, 2018 |
Probz: @bolded. Fool, who no know say na Yoruba get 'Apon'? Who no know say you okoro pple too dey steal other pple's languages and terminologies? If na you get am, how come nobody call it that crap name 'okwuru'? Stupid okoro animals... Like the other day they started with the stupid trend of calling 'Aso-Ebi' (A well known Yoruba word) as 'Ashebi'. Chai! Thief. Not a single known value or norm... You can as well go ahead and claim Iyan, Garri, fufu et al as okoro language. What's the okoro name for the most generic staple foods across the continent like: 'eba', 'iyan', 'fufu', 'semo', 'moin-moin', 'akara' et al..? Una no get and rather go with whatever we ur Yoruba masters coin it. We all know your language is the worst of all languages. Go and read abt how weak the okoro language and culture is. 1 Like |

Follygunners: Yet the Igbo ogbono’s more popular than Yoruba apon. Semo’s short for semolina. Tell me that’s a Yoruba word and I’ll know you’re not serious. Garri Yoruba? LMAO. 2 Likes |
Re: Quick And Easy OKRO Soup! by Follygunners: 4:45pm On Jun 07, 2018 |
Probz: Fool! Ogbono is some tasteless okoro soup. 'Apon' is the real name which is a complementary side to soups in Yoruba just like our very delicious 'ewedu' and 'ila' . You okoro pple as usual decided to wanna tweak it and call it some useless name. 'Semo' is a pure Yoruba term that has been westernized over the course of time. We call it 'Semo-Vita' from the very developed and powerful factories that manufacture them in SW of Nigeria. Yoruba feed you, okoro pple! |
Re: Quick And Easy OKRO Soup! by Probz(m): 4:50pm On Jun 07, 2018 |
Follygunners: Why won’t apon be tasteless when it’s cooked by one useless iya Ibadan? Stick to your gbegiri and ewedu. 2 Likes |

https://youtu.be/KAV2F9ylQTIM Wouldn’t have made it to YouTube if there wasn’t at least some truth to it. Yoruba soups are a joke for the most part. We all know that. 1 Like |
