700 Verification payment: An attempt to deny students of a fundamental human right.

Clarion call to all able fellow students and the leadership of the Students Union Government on the need to as a matter of urgency, come to a unanimous and harmonious view regarding the recent direction of students to proceed to making payments for verification of O-level results of already admitted and matriculated students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, by the management.
Facts have it that:
(1) all results verification must have been concluded during the process of registration in the first year, so there is no need for emergency verification of results again;

(2) the management reserves every right to write the examination councils (WAEC, NECO, ...) to finalize every verification of results. It cannot still be successful using students. Fake results may still be uploaded/returned by some few students.

(3) the payments are not to be made through REMITA; Why?

(4) time will come when students will be compelled to make payments for verification of studentships. Every extortion is an indication that the SUG needs a legal adviser;

(5) we have been compelled to rectify a university result for #550 from #220, knowing fully well that the economic situation of the country does not in any form, affect the process of rectification by the management;

(6) is there any need for matriculation and its oath when the management knows there will be subsequent/future signing of other oaths?

I hereby call on His Excellency, the President, FUNAAB Students' Union, President Popoola Ayobami, Da Silva (GCFAF) coupled with the Director of Welfare, Comr. Wonder, to rise for the immediate need to approach this again. We are appreciative of the past efforts towards ensuring that the welfare and security of FUNAABites are not taken with levity.

Indivisible we are, yes we are;
Articulate we are, yes we are;
Irrepressible we are, yes we are;
Incongruous we dare, yes we dare.

We want EFCC to investigate FUNAAB new 700naira O'level verification fees that's to be paid into a private purse and not the Officia FEDERAL government Remits purse!

Monday, FUNAAB directed all of her students to pay the Sum of 700naira O'level verification fee and the questions we've been asking has been.. WHY and for what?

It ain't like FUNAAB lost her database then why are we VERIFYING anything?
What's the 700naira for?
And why are we paying into an account that's not the usual federal government REMITA account?
