NAME Charges Members To Donate Towards Waziri Atiku Abubakar Nomination FORM. by TolaTea: 7:50pm On Jun 06, 2018 |
A political pressure group, the National Atikulate Movement 4 Emancipation - NAME, has charges its members home and abroad to donate towards party nomination form for their grand master and principal, Waziri Atiku Abubakar, GCON. This charge came from the National Chairman of the body, Adm. Tola O. Ajimisogbe, during their National Executive meeting heard in Prestige Hotel, Benin city, Edo State earlier today. The chairman said the action has become necessary following their pressure on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to contest for the coming 2019 presidential election and for which Alhaji has yielded to. He therefore said that the burden of savaging Nigeria must not be left on Atiku Abubakar alone because according to him, "it was our pressure to help us that he has listen to". To this end, members must be made to take part in helping Atiku and Nigerians to do all necessary activities that will help in savaging Nigeria from the carnage that the All Progressive Congress has caused it. According to the chairman, "the present condition of the nation's economy could frightened any individual and make him or her to withdraw from the race if not backed by well meaning Nigerians like us and also because Buhari has taken us a million years behind our earlier economic position in Africa". "Therefore, I urged those of us here to take the message to our various states chapters and tell our members to agree With us to donate N200.00 each towards what we believed in." Earlier, the National Vice Chairman of the body in charge of the North, Alhaji Sanusi Isa Sokoto, drew the attention of the delegates to the unacceptable degree of polarization of the country along side Muslim/Christian, Fulani/Yoruba, North/South dichotomy which the current ruling party have helped in no small measure to cosmetically dressed to the detriment of the country. Sanusi therefore begged members to please ensure that the spirit of Atiku Abubakar which includes detribalism, tolerance and brotherhood need to be preached more than ever before to held sustain the nation's economy before the coming of our grand master in 2019. In the same line, the National Director of Planning and Strategy of the NAME, Dr. Kakitie Sunday who requested that a minute silence be observed in honour of the recent Benue victims of Fulani headmen called for stiffer campaign against the incompetent government of president Buhari and demanded that a letter is written to the United Nations by the National Chairman of the NAME in order to state our position regarding the current happenings in the Nigeria political space. Adm. Ajimisogbe therefore nominated Alhaji Yunusa Maiwada, who is the National Secretary, Dr. Sunday Kakitie, and Prophetess Adunke Module Adebo, National Women Leader to urgently put in motion the process of opening an account for the prompt collection of our donations towards Waziri's nomination form. |
