Alarmed by the perpetration of various falsehoods against the administration of Dr. Bukola Saraki by various opposition groups, the Kwara State Progressive Elders Forum (KPSEF) has called on such groups to refrain from such conduct forthwith The Chairman of the Forum, Mr. Yissa Ezekiel Benjamin stated, that while there was a place for constructive criticism, KPSEF would not condone the perpetuation of falsehood, and malicious criticism on the part of any group.

Speaking at a news conference, Mr. Yissa Ezekiel Benjamin stated that prior to the assumption of office by Dr. Bukola Saraki, many people did not believe that he would perform well as governor. He said the outstanding achievements of Dr. Bukola Saraki had removed such doubt, especially in his leadership ability, and capacity to govern. He praised the efforts of the governor in the areas of agriculture, education, infrastructural development, healthcare delivery, and poverty alleviation among others.
