Wow, I have finally found the time to write on this topic. Who knew there were this many Nigerian atheists confined within the shores of the world’s most populous black nation? After observing my fellow kindred for the last few years, I have come to the conclusion that religious Nigerians are the most morally bankrupt set of beings roaming the face of this earth. They lack any form of conscience WHAT SO EVER. And I mean it. They are devoid of any iota of humanity, compassion or empathy. Simply put, they are the devil in detail, nothing more and nothing less. DAAMMNN it these folks are EVILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Do you know the kind of heart it takes to “believe in an all knowing deity, who hears and sees all” then continue to live a life full of extreme hypocrisy? Do you know what it takes to live your life this way? I suspect these beings do not have any form of self-awareness, they are not fully human, they are not yet conscious, they are yet to evolve into homo-sapiens. Oh dear! What is very bizarre about the behaviours of these hypocrites is the intent to maim the next man for the same ills he perpetuates, Let me give some recent examples: 1. Your average Nigerian religious folk (ANRF) is currently short-changing his employer as we speak, but is willing to kill the next person caught pilfering company funds 2. Your average Nigerian religious folk has a ton of porn on his hand held device, bleeps at any given opportunity, married or otherwise, has acquired scars on his fingers from excessive masturbation; but is ever ready to strike the necks of a gay man, who does not profess his religion 3. Your average Nigerian folk frequents gay porn sties for experimentation only, but will be the first to scream abomination at the next effeminate male 4. Your average Nigerian folk believes consulting babalawos is his birth right, he feels nothing murdering the soul of another human to get rich or slightly less poor. 5. Your average Nigerian lacks all and I mean all forms of integrity, is morally decrepit and hopelessly corrupt, all will steal as soon as the opportunity presents itself (or not) 6. Your average Nigerian folk has raped at least 1 female in his lifetime and layed the blame on the victim. 7. Look at how we drive on the roads? We are way toooooo selfish to be classified as human, it seems like these behaviours are encoded deep within us, and we do not even know it. The biggest problem I have is this: Why scream at the next man for his sin! Why threaten to kill the next man for the exact same thing you do when you think no one is watching you? When you are 100X worse !!! Think about it!! No single Nigerian believes in any damn God, religious folk are indeed the true atheists. The more religious, the more deadly, and I mean deadly of the cold blooded variety- no remorse and fully devoid of emotion. I dare you to prove me wrong. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Source of your stats? Considering there're atheists on this forum, it's no surprise that there're atheists in Nigeria, but I'm disinclined to believe that number. |

Just another idiot trying to relate evil with godlessness. Nigerians believe in God. They know how he works - big old man in the sky that likes Israel and killed his Son for them. They know God loves Christians who sin more than he loves sinners. Christians who sin are under grace - no grace for sinners. God is like the average Nigerian Oga - he loves those who tell him sweet things, who bow before him, who never question Him. Like Oga, he punishes mercilessly those who fall out of line - uniformity in mediocrity is favored. Believers in God commit evil. That doesn't make them atheist - just human like everyone else. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

OP is angry. Nigerians are the most religious bunch I know but yet Nigeria remains the most rotten country I know and I've been to a lot of countries. Belief in God doesn't make people good at all. 5 Likes |

mindeed:I am astonished at your insight which is almost true, but the flaws in your write up is the fact that you don't really understand the meaning of Christianity, when Jesus was on earth those who condemned him were pious religious leaders, so majority of people who claim to be religious are really not as righteous as they claim to be.but if they insist to claim pious but still live secrete dirty lives, it is left for God to judge them.any one who believes God exist is not necessarily a Christian but any one who doesn't BELIVE in the existence of God is an atheist. 1 Like |

Chidorx60:Not my fault your God is a cunt. Had to kill his Son to save himself from eternal malice with his 'robots'. Be a proud robot. Let your OS be the words of the Bible. Keep waiting for one man to come from sky and take you to heaven.... It shall be well. 3 Likes |

HappyPagan:don't batter with things you have shut your mind to understand, I won't waste my time explaining the celestial activities of the trinity in the affairs of men. So just stop this unnecessary blabber about God killing his son.it sounds very absurd to us who understand the rhema of the bible |

The atheists are again doing a hard work in displaying foolishness and folly. Athiests can sleep with animals or can be animals themselves because no law forbids them against it. |

Chidorx60:The Bible wasn't written to be understood - faith is all it requires. To those with faith, a pile of shit could smell as good as a freshly mowed lawn. Faith is not understanding - even God remains a mystery to you. Chidorx60:You shouldn't. That's a pastime you and fellow faithfools should enjoy together. This is a public forum. Chidorx60:Rhema and rheumatism. All these fake ass words so you feel special and important, part of THE clique. Halleluia, hosanna brother. I apologize. It was my false understanding that God sacrificed his Son to save us. At least, that's what I heard last time I was in church. Maybe you have a more politically correct translation. 2 Likes |

mindeed:I get you op. "ANRFs are so hypocritically evil that they are atheists". I do however suggest that you erroneously assume, like quite a few ANRFs assume, that being an atheist is licence to do those nasty things you listed the ANRFs do, and that atheism and evil are synonyms. You aren't quite definite on that fact however, and to be honest, I feel you lament more the action of the ANRFs moreso than the atheists. You're saying, "the salt of the earth has lost it's saltiness". But note that that does not make them atheists, it just makes them evil. Do correct me if I've summed this up wrong. |

HappyPagan:Do you know the idea that the Bible wasn't written to be understood is a lie told by the religious leaders so they can exploit the masses? The stories about Jesus for starts, were about demystifying god, and earlier in the book is a story of two slaves being freed from slavery and bondage by a snake, can you believe it. Then you have Protestantism, another freedom act, achieved by translating the Bible from Greek and Latin to vernacular. All of a sudden, Moses don't need go up the mountain alone because we are no more afraid to look on the face of God ourselves. Verily verily, I so wish to say, the day cometh when ye will know who the gods are! |

HappyPagan:at times I wonder what breed of wannabies you atheist are. for those practicing this faith in truth, everything about the bible is so true but your embittered hearts who without sound facts are always ready to attack the sure truth. OK you don't believe in the supernatural but I do, so can't you see you are the who has not found anything. I know you won't want to believe this but not everyone are so daft to BELIVE a lie. very sound minds with the understanding of science and logic have turned to this faith because they found light.I advise that you go for another search for truth instead of saying things about something you know nothing about |

Belief in the Lord Jesus Christ today and confess him as your Lord and saviour. Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. |

Chidorx60:You are talking with just one atheist, not a million. Beyond our lack of belief, I see no reason why you'd think of us as a breed of wannabes. Funny, you're the African man who pretends to be Gentile... but let's ignore that. Chidorx60:True, because you believe. Belief is powerful. Chidorx60:One who claims to hold the 'Truth' will naturally attract questions and disbelief, doubt and scrutiny. These aren't attacks, or arrows from embittered hearts. For some, faith is not just enough; any absurd story can become TRUTH by abandoning reason. Asking questions never hurt anyone, only those who have lies to hide. Chidorx60:One's intelligence isn't synonymous with gullibility... Even the most intelligent can be scammed, or believe in something false. Chidorx60:You sound angry. Come back when you have eaten. 3 Likes 1 Share |

HappyPagan:if Christianity sounds funny to you, then how come you can come to terms with an ideology that pushes aside the supernatural. Open your eyes this world is not ordinary so I suggest you look deeper and stop this annoying jest you're trying to make. |
