I feel ashamed of the Nigerian government any time I see a news like this, how can a citizen of an oil producing country be so desperate to migrate out of his mother home by any means by rail, road, desert, sea, air or any other means, that shows that the government is irresponsible to it's citizens.

Greener lands....

Sometimes I don't blame them, it's the mentality that they can earn more there then here.... Which is not totally wrong.

If you like believe this ambassador na you sabi, even if you travel legally to italy they can rope you up for any tiny offence and find a way to repatriate you to Nigeria
Italy and Germany and many other european countries hate the fact that you found a way into thier country

Decades of poor leadership has bred crimes and incessant killings in Nigeria by Nigerians.Although no excuse enough for crimes but if good leadership was in place crime rate by Nigerians in and outside Nigeria would have been at bearest minimum.

Part of the lazy Nigerians Mr. Buhari talked about that refused doing legitimate work but prefer unlawful thing. If 1500 Nigerians are in Italy, how many would be in USA, London, Australia, France etc?

Africans need to decolonize their mind. Europe was never build by angels. Truly our leaders in power of authority has done below expectation but there are things we can do here to better our lives than travelling to Europe working 18hrs a day while some engage in criminal activities just to be able to pay bills and still living in fear of comfort. After being relieved from my job I thought the world has ended until I realize that there are millions of opportunities out there that one can take advantage of and still become that millionaire we want to be. Google is your friend!

Silly Nigerian criminals. Why didn't they perform heroic acts to gain citizenship like the Malian guy who climbed a building to save a baby in France? They would rather engage in crimes like prostitution, drug pedalling and robbery. Moreover, why would you leave Nigeria for broke countries like Italy whose economy is at the brink of a depression? Or India, another poor 3rd world country with very frustrated people. The Italians should lock them up for 15 years and force them to work hard Labour to pay for their meals and medical upkeep.
Easy
