Emmanuel Babayaro has slammed Nigeria's Super Eagles for the attention given to their World Cup Kit for the tournament.

The Super Eagles Jersey has drawn more attention that any other country at the tournament.

The jersey was named the "Best World Cup Kit" for the tournament in Russia this summer but the team haven't performed too well.

The kits have attracted fans, footballers, including Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who recently expressed his delight for the jersey.

However, the kit didn't help Nigeria in the opening match as they ended up with a 2-0 defeat to Croatia in Kaliningrad.

Now, Babayaro has condemned the attention given to the jerseys and questioned the team's commitment.

He told Goal, “We are too engaged in playing to the gallery. Everybody is showing off in our jerseys, we’re the best dressed, we’re the best fashionistas.

“Football doesn’t give room for any of this. If you give football 100 percent, it gives you back 100 percent.”
