I'm sorry tetede, but u must b joking bout Fashola being impressive u seriously must b joking if dat debate occurred in yankee or jand, dat would have been the end of Fasola's career period He was boring, he was lying, he wasn't sound came across as a man with a bunch of facts in his head and just spilled dem out abeg he no try AT ALL I was there live, and I know the responses he got, so don't come here and hype the dude he failed, that bar was set too high he wasn't even the league of the other candidates Now KORO dat you undermine, common men, dont need to hate on the fella how can you say he was beatn around the bush when he reveled to the good people of Lagos is dream to make lagos desirable again, when he spoke with passion and all sense of rightousness What worked for him, was that the bar was set so low for him, that he over scaled the bar hence a BIG BOOST to his candidacy Forget o, thats the next governor of our state I think its time for a handsome face to rule Lagos |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by samyyoung1(m): 3:50pm On Mar 26, 2007 |
I personnaly think JK is the best, thats is JIMI AGBAJE, He is sound morally, acedemically, Socially, Physically,He is stable minded and i belief he is going to take lagos to the best height one thing about politics i want u all to know is that assuming FASHOLA enters, he is going to repay Tinubu and his allies all the campaign money with interest so also KORO, so lets support a man with lesser god-fatherism. Vote Truth Vote Trust Vote Thought Vote JIMI AGBAJE for Governor, Lagos State |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by rexmaliik(m): 4:40pm On Mar 26, 2007 |

Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by diyobdw(f): 4:59pm On Mar 26, 2007 |
@tetede- nice anaysis Koro is stricks me like another fayose or Alams'- too much mouth & aggression wihtout wit! Pedro is a too girly to be a LG chairman how did he get to being a Deputy to the governor sef?- What was the statement " someone with no financial background" all about? shame shame shame! Fashola seem to be more composed and focused Am impressed at Jimi's performance too But really if i were to go by the debate i will still choose fashola in Team A Come to think of it how he team B go? -( Fresh, PPA, AD & ?) the the ladies ? any luck? Lagos need not just looks but brains and and innovative sound mind. |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by zillonnair(m): 5:01pm On Mar 26, 2007 |
Sometimes, i wonder if some men really knows what is it to be a man. How in the world would someone say Pedro lost is coool. I think you need to have a rethink, in a broadcast that is televised live and on the internet, someone wants to tarnished he (Pedro's) reputation and political image (dey one pour sand sand for him garri, d guy halla) and you said he flared. I want to ask you, what would you have done? if it were you? Dont be fooled, to be a man is not mai mai, Peace out, i no fit shout. |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by zillonnair(m): 5:09pm On Mar 26, 2007 |
But to be honest, if you are very analytic, you would choose Pedro and Jimi. Personally, i would give it to Pedro, why? Cause he has experience and he knows what he is talking about. Jimi and Pedro are the only candidate with plan for lagos. Dont get me wrong, i dont mean, the rest are not willing to serve, its one thing to have the desire to serve its another to have your plan well laid out. Only Jimi and Pedro really and sincerely has plans for a new Lagos. Fashola i thought i was going to vote for desappointed me, he played on the intelligence of lagosians that faithful day, can you imagine fashola saying publicly that he was the CHAIRMAN OF THE LAGOS STATE TENDERS BOARD, AFTER ADMITTING COLLECTING 7BILLION NAIRA TO BUILD HOUSES IN EKO AKETE I think it is rather sad, that one who is a lawyer, became a Chief of Staff, and the Chairman of Lagos State Tender Board and awarded a contract to his favour, since when did he become a contractor. And to be sincere, he deserves to go to jail. I am highly desappointed at his uncordinated speech. Honestly, he has lost, he has sold his intelligence for money. It is obvious Jimi and Pedro are one of the best. But i would choose Pedro, he knows what he is talking about. |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by tunmininu(f): 5:11pm On Mar 26, 2007 |
JIMI AGBAJE is the man,he's got the charisma to be a governor unlike the confused PEDRO,the arrogant FASHOLA,and the uncultured KORO. VOTE JIMI AGBAJE-THE ONLY SANE GOVERNOR COME 2007. PLS, HERE HIM OUT: Dear All, My name is Jimi Agbaje and by now I hope you all know I am running for Governor of Lagos State on the platform of the Democratic Peoples Alliance(DPA). I presented my Manifesto to transform Lagos State on 4th March . I do understand not everyone could attend (not enough space anyway!) so I intend to share my vision and master plan for Lagos State with you in the next few weeks. What is my vision for Lagos State? I must first tell you what it is not. It is NOT about repairing schools and bad roads, providing transportation and housing, healthcare, a clean environment etc! That cannot be my vision, for the simple reason that those are the things a government in power must do -thats why they were elected in the first place! My vision is to totally transform Lagos State. It is about a reallignment and recalliberation of this state and is anchored on where Lagos State Must be in 10 years time. The state must be transformed into one of the fastest growing economies in the sub region and indeed the world. I mean massive growth in a short time and I believe we can do it! I hinge my vision on Malaysia, on Dubai, on Singapore and in our continent, on South Africa and Ghana.I deem it a shame that Nigeria, indeed Lagos State has fallen so far behind. My vision is about service, true service to the community. It is ensuring that people are elevated from poverty, hunger, squalor and homelessness. It is about having a literate, relevantly educated people who are able to use their education to gain good employment or be self employed. It is about restoring the dignity of and rewarding hard work.It is about a secure, lively state buzzing with economic activity during the day, and entertainment at night! My master plan is therefore to re-invent Lagos State as a productive, diversified, thriving economy through what I have captioned ENTREPRENEURAL GOVERNANCE.(e.g) Simply , it is a model of government that actively looks for creative ways and takes advantage of every opportunity which allows wealth and prosperity creation for both the people and the state. To do this, we must: improve our peoples' skills through education, to equip them for the transformation : fully include and engage the private sector in our plans : totally upgrade our infrastructure: reverse the rapid environmental and corresponding health decline, and: ensure our people have security of life and property. How will we achieve this? I will expantiate in my next message. Just remember, WE CANNOT AFFORD SAME OF THE SAME or MORE OF THE SAME! Support this new vision to secure a Lagos that works. Vote for JIMI AGBAJE |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by akamihe(m): 5:22pm On Mar 26, 2007 |
Comrades, Let's leave this 'right man wrong party' sentiment. Times have to change. And by pple like u and I. Let's be very objective and see this era beyond party. Go and vote for the right and most qualified person. Qualified in all ramifications. For me ooo! I no send your party. I have jettisoned party long ago. If u like belong to GNPP, so long as u r a credible person tht can be trusted, then u have my vote. My choice is between Agbaje and Uche Ohimai. I wld have included Pedro but for that singular tempramental exhibition when Agbaje took on him! Let's chose between this two. They are the best - objective, genuine, composed, sincere. I don talk my own. Ce' fini. |

Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by sleekdot(m): 9:42pm On Mar 26, 2007 |
Koro was very incoherent and aggresive in his manner of speech His diction is also very terrible, he is the worst choice for Lagos |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by jydoh(m): 12:18am On Mar 27, 2007 |
We've practically turned this thread into a campaign center This is not helping the basis of this topic. @Kitaun Koro being matured was very visible dat day, and i salute him for dat, I'm not ready 2 fight a fellow nairalander because of some politicians. Plz kindly tell Fashola 2 stop telling the people of Lagos what his God father has done butlet him tell us His own contributrions to Lagos that makes him feel he warrants our vote. Letz look at this; Koro- a senator that did this and dat including stepping up a bill on the Bar beach erosion that prevented Tsunami in Lagos. Jimi-a Pharmacist of staunch repute, he did this and dat including owning a drug factory dat produces drugs 4 the people of Lagos state. Femi- a banker and Deputy Gov, He did this and dat, including raising the internally generated revenue of Lagos state 4rm 2 to 6 Billion naira. Fashola- a SAN, chief of staff 2 Governor, he did this and dat, including following the governor around and ehmm, ehmm,ehmm----------------------- NOTHING sleekdot: Communication simply means to talk and be heard. either verbally or otherwise. Diction and pronounciation are only additional spices to the already tasty dish, |

Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by Razorr(f): 10:55am On Mar 27, 2007 |
Jimmy Agbaje is brilliant. But he is in the wrong party. Koro is a disgrace to the political sector. I told you all that he can't speak English! It seems Fashola would win the forthcoming election, all things being equal. There is nothing you or me can do about it (incumbency power). |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by Nobody: 11:09am On Mar 27, 2007 |
INCUBENCY POWER FINE GIRL I DOUBT U KNOW ABOUT POLITICS TOO WELL. SHULD HEAR U SAY FEDERAL MIGHT PDP OWNS THIS COUNTRY AS LONG AS THAT PARTY EXISTS.WEDA U LIKE IT OR NOT THEY WILL DETERMINE WHO RULES WHERE AND HOW.(LAGOS NOT EXCLUSIVE). IWU IS IN THE PDP HOPE U KNOW ANYWAY LET THE BEST MAN WIN JARE STAY UP |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by Razorr(f): 11:15am On Mar 27, 2007 |
@femilangy I can't believe an intelligent 'fine boy' like you just made that statement. If PDP is so powerful, then why have they not been able to grab control of Lagos state since 1999? Lagos is much more complicated that that. Make no mistake about it, AC would continue to rule Lagos for a very long time to come! Fashola is winning this coming election, if the area boys and agberos have anything to say about it. |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by Nobody: 11:34am On Mar 27, 2007 |

Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by Razorr(f): 11:39am On Mar 27, 2007 |
Ok sweety. I am waiting for you to reveal the miracle formula that would make PDP win this year. Don't forget that they have the most stupid choice of candidate. If Koro wins, I would pack my bags and go live in Abeokuta, sharp sharp! |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by Nobody: 11:46am On Mar 27, 2007 |

We don't see KORO flaring up like a baby do we? dats d kind of leader we want infact we NEED in Lagos. |
Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by llcoolg05: 12:46pm On Mar 27, 2007 |
@ Razzor, dont let me say u are razz by making that comment that KORO can't speak english. The CEO of Zenith called people like you Bastards after he heard KORO speak at a business forum held in Sheraton. He said "Our people are bastards you know, how can they say this man cannot speak english" he was totally conviced and jumped on KORO's campaign train. you know what that means $$$$$$$$$$$ my sister he attended the Texas Southern University, holds a BSc Public Affairs, Masters in Public Administration. in all honesty, you have to speak english to a very very reasonable level to obtain such degrees from the United States, so lets shut up about the man not being able to speak english and move forward |
