40 year olds would never win anything for us,  Kalu should be about 43 years,  Yakubu is about 40 years,  Obafemi Martins who was just discovered a few years ago by the Western Press as a new gem from Nigeria is already a shadow of him self, he was rumoured to be signed by Arsenal at some point, one can see that he is not the spring chicken he claims to be,  he is about 38 years old

Never in the history of Sports has old men overwhelm young men, except if we are looking for a George Foreman miracle a once in century record. We might as well wait for this miracle to come to past by the year 2110, a 100 years from now.

Some1 please tell dat he-Goat(osaze odemwengie) to shut up. Ewu! http://www.kickoff.com/mobilen/content/article/16314. What did he do when he had d chance to set up martins 2 score against Greece. He's only a sore loser coz he didnt have enuf game time 2 convince scout 4 a big move to england. Largerback must remain as Manager so he can develop our football. U dnt give a manager 1month and expect him 2 perform magic nt even jose mourinho can do dat. Hope 9ja and ivory coast learn 4rm dat . As 4 osaze he should go and fu*k himself or stand on top transformer and bath. THANK YOU!

Nigeria could have at least get to round-of-sixteen.
But our lack in Defence, Midfield & Attack cost us much.
We have no team. Not solely of coaching errors, but also of poor players.
We have players who are blunt cutlass.,
Whoever tries using blunt cutlass to cut a Tree may die b4 the Tree falls.
What can we say of Yakubu's miss?
Let alone Obafemi.
Those goals can be score by the lames around Oshodi Railway.
The problems goes back to planing. NFF is the one to determine how well we do in future.
If that glass house remains as it is, let us expect more woes from their corruption.
But will they work for soccer-loving Nigerians? No, but for their pockets.
As far as that place are overseen by civil servant's, expect more woes.
because, getting a coach, planning a friendly, doing anything at all will be influenced by "what goes into my pocket".
Till 2014.

Nigeria is a total disgrace to the whole of Africa, too many chances but just 2 Goals. Wait is Yakubu a striker or just a Big fool spoiling Nigeria Chances? Imagine open net Yakufool nor fit score. even a 5 years old can score that goal which Yakufool missed. Infact all of them na fools. na to go Bleep okpo them sabi. Super Eagles don turn to lazy Eagles.

Well at least, all the unnecessary extra luggage that Nigeria's money is being wasted can stop hoping for more money.

My Conclusion's from Nigerian Super Eagles World Cup shocked
1. Some players didn't train with an empty goal post
2. The Nigerians Supporters Club had no song to render during the matches
3. NFF and the coaching crew must be examine by qualified psychiatrists
4. While Some players should go into Wrestling

It's really a pity that we (Nigeria&NFF) keep doing the same things repeatedly and expecting a different result. How many times have we changed our coaches? and why are we still clinging to the same set of players and expecting a positive result? Things never workout that way, Let's think about this.

YAK: I’M IN THE BEST FORM OF MY LIFE.
Super Eagles Forward, Yakubu Aiyegbeni Boast

Super Eagles striker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni can’t wait for Saturday’s World Cup opener against Argentina and admits the team’s 3-1 win over fellow finalists, North Korea on Sunday in their last tune up game will boost the team confidence.

The Everton forward tells Complete Sports that the victory over the Asians was important.
“The win over North Korea will boost our confidence, it was a morale booster.”

“We’ve been playing draws in recent friendlies (versus Saudi Arabia and Colombia), so it’s good we got a win ahead of our first game with Argentina.

“I’m in good shape, most probably in the best shape of my life, for the World Cup.
“The training under (Lars) Lagerback has been superb, not only for me, but the entire team.

“It was a great feeling to score. It came from a good team play and Obinna (Nsofor) read my run very well. It was a striker’s goal. This has boosted my confidence,” he further said.

Hi from Bulgaria, I've always liked and followed Nigeria's national team since 1994 when yall beat us 3:0. We both qualified and you were a minute away from eliminating Italy. I was rooting for Nigeria this World cup like I was born in Lagos or something, but I gotta say I just don't see that tenacity and power. There was no pressing and almost no physical domination like in the past years by the Nigerians. I'm really sad of what happened, especially as a big fan of Oba Goal, who deserved to be a starter. Being a bench player killed his confidence and that is why I think he missed that chance in the 80th minute there. THat said, Yakubu has no place on that team anymore, he closed the door himself. Lagerback aint a bad coach but he was too unadaptive to the other teams and the way the games developed. He kept Obasi in for too long in some games and stuck with Keita even though he was the worst player for Nigeria in the first game. I wish Nigeria all the best from the bottom of my heart and one day the Supereagles will soar again!!! The team should be built around Enyeama, Echiejile, Mikel, Martins, Obinna, the Uche brothers and maybe add some veterans like Taiwo and Yobo. But thats it. Keep your heads up.

cheesy finally! now we should stop seeing those boring adverts with some 'pot-bellied' peoples asking all Nigerians to support the 'Super Eagles'.

I saw a lot of wonderful comments on Kanu. And some of them came from those who called him old and useless before the competition.
I knew Kanu would always have something to offer the Eagles that was why I backed Largs when he included him on his list. Thank God he has
proven that with his experience. I wish Largs had used him when we played Greece especially after the red card.

Shame on all Kanu's 'enemies' people who don't appreciate their living legends

Mandingo ll
Nobody is jealous of a yankee.Your american sports channel ESPN is racist and that is the truth of the matter.During the Slovenia-US match that was officiated by an african referee from Mali the yankee ESPN commentators were using racial slurs on the african referee and throwing insults at his country of origin and not to talk of the bashing the guys were throwing at the slovenians.Just because you refer to yourselves as coons and niggers in your country is not enough reason to use such offensive language when u are outside your home soil. You americans are just too loud, arrogant and clueless. The world dislike you for the atrocities your soldiers are commiting in Iraq and Afganistan. The only thing a yankee soldier can do is rape little boys in detention camps.Americans are truely proving out the sterptype that overweight ppl are dumb since almost all of them are suffering frm obesity.
