Vacancy for Research & Strategy Analyst

Manspecs:
The scope duties are as stated below:
• Credit analysis of counterparties
• Analysis of issuer and making Investment proposal for investment in State bonds
• Analysis of budgets of State government to ascertain funding need by way of bond issuance
• Making proposals to States seeking to be appointed as Trustees to sub national bond
• Monthly and quarterly review of returns made by fund managers of Mutual funds to which we are Trustees, to ensure compliance to asset allocation threshold as contained in the Trust deed
• Monitoring investment performance to ensure compliance with in-house Investment policy
• Making quarterly reports for our Capital market clients
• Monitoring stock portfolio with Stock broking firms via on-line view of CSCS statement
• Tracking of corporate actions
• Offer investment opinion to our capital market clients
• Interfacing with the Arrangers of Commercial papers ( CPs ) to take advantage of investment opportunities
• Collation of micro-fundamental data sourced from CBN and National Bureau of Statistics for investment strategy
• Represent company in Investment committee meetings with Fund managers to mutual fund
• Represent company in bondholders meetings
• Preparation of Weekly Market Report

Educational Requirements:
A good university degree, preferably in a Finance, Economics or Business Administration related discipline. ACA/ACCA will be an added advantage.

Cognate Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years post–graduation experience in similar role in Capital Market industry.
