It appears the whole guilty plea was pre arranged to make way for the option of fine of 300k, which is the main catch in the whole sentence. We may never know how much the offender really coughed out to get this lenient judgment. Olalan: |

[quote author=NafeesaAA post=68754023]Igbo again? importing tramadol and other sex enhancing drugs is in fact a trillion times better than the human carnage , sunami that has let millions of people in IDP all over the North , to the extent that states like Benue , plateau in the middle belt have lost Local government to fulani hersmen whil th good for nothing military and DSS look on unconcerned. Sale of tramadol and viagra is happening legally in control environments in US and Europe , is it a ground nut republic that should be thinking how to curb incessant unabated killing of unarmed people that should make it their headache. 3 Likes 1 Share |

NafeesaAA:The prof will soon blame Igbos for his inability to feed his four wives and for sending his children to Almajari's school. Instead of him encouraging non discrimination of these taking alcohol in order for these who wants to high to do so, he is there blaming others for their problem. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Tramadol is never an illegal drug. It is an advanced pain killer. Is the drug illegal in the country it was manufactured? Mr Ifeanyi did not push anyone to patronize him, blame islam and the northern youths. It is still better than suicide bombing and skull mining. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Greizman:Nothing is wrong with Tramadol. It is a pain killer. Blame the people abusing it. Ordinary paracetamol will kill you if you abuse it. Tramadol is only dangerous if you take above the prescribed dosage or miss it with alcohol, the same way malaria drug will kill you if you abuse it. 2 Likes 1 Share |

FortifiedCity: He was charged for unlawful importation . @ topic....the law need to be changed. The judge had the option of imposing a N300K fine but chose to give him the minimum sentence...5 years. No one tribe is involved in wrecking young lives with tramadol...so why the tribalism? |

slydog:The problem with this country is that the North don't take responsibility. They destroyed themselves by abusing a legitimate drug and look for an innocent Igbo man to hang the blame on to the cheering of their ever subservient yoruba moslems. Eradicate Tramadol today, tomorrow almajiris will start abusing paracetamol and the caliphate will still look for another innocent Igbo man to blame. Drug abuse is their blood. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Empty sensationalism. I am sure it was the culprit company that was found guilty so he will most unlikely have vicarious liability. What is 300k to an importer? |
