How To Write A Standard Cover Letter With 3 Paragraphs (UPDATED)

(For Job Applicants And Graduates In Nigeria)
A cover letter simply reveals who you are,it shows your interest in the job position and why you are the best fit for the job. It must be written in a format that will make it stand out from other jobs applicants. It must contain your name,contact address and a suitable heading. It must be written in a simple format and it must have at most 3 paragraphs because hiring managers and employers may have a lot of cover to read letters to read. In this write-up i will explain how to write a standard cover letter with 3 paragraphs:

PARAGRAPH 1 1.Introduction of who you are(optional) and the position you are applying for,where and how you found the job advert. 2.State a brief summary of your qualification and relate it to the position you are applying for (Remember they have your cv)

PARAGRAPH 2 1.Discuss your qualifications and your achievements. 2.Mention examples of achievements in your career (if any) 3.Use languages or keywords/skills as displayed in the requirements in the job advert. 4.Don't repeat all the information in your Cv.

PARAGRAPH 3 1.Close it by saying you are the best fit for the job or any related job in the company (very important ) and remember to include a call to action(intervie w invitation date). 2.Ask them to give you a call/notification to schedule an interview. 3.Thank them for taking time to consider you. Final words: Like I always say,there is no perfect CV/Cover letter:Do your research we have Cv/ Cover letter writing agencies that charge as high as 35k to write for job applicants in Nigeria,to tell you how important it is. You wouldn't learn how to write a good Cv/Cover letter except you start writing today(you will definitely learn from your mistakes.) Remember not to send same cover letter to different job positions.
