JOB SUMMARY
Akermas Energy is looking for an experienced Integrated Control & Safety System Engineer (ICSS) to join their team. Duties will include but not be limited to: Assisting in the development and maintenance of the electrical/instrumentation and control equipment/systems, distribution systems, procedures and competency requirements to ensure continued functionality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Standard Applications

• Ensuring the reliability of the ICSS system:

• Preventive maintenance

• Performance monitoring programs

• Trouble shooting and investigation of failures

• Ensuring standardisation of design

• Collaborating with the ICSS Vendors for modifications.

• Experience in DCS and instrumentation &Automation engineering with experience in oil & Gas sector.

• Experience in DCS/control Room operations in oil and Gas platform.

• Basic knowledge of introduction to offshore operations.

• Proficiency in instrumentation projects in design & engineering, drawings, relevant documents for project and proposal and client
interaction for resolving concerns, and ability to organise customer training / kick off meeting (CKOM) with power point presentations at
the client site before project take off.

• Expertise in engineering, maintenance and operations of DCS (CENTUM VP) and foundation field bus.

• Good experience in power point presentations.

• Knowledge of tuning PID controller.

• Experience in conducting PRE-FAT, FAT, pre-commissioning and commissioning.

• Good understanding of the following standards: ANSI, ASTM, IEC AND ISA

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Detailed understanding and knowledge of ICSS System design including process control, safety instrumented system, HIPS system and asset management systems.
Bachelor's Degree/HND in Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronic engineering.
Experience with SCEs, performance standards and Safety Case development
Strong background in Oil and Gas operations with solid onshore and offshore experience.
Prior to start up you will use your experience to provide technical and operational input during Detailed Design, Installation and Commissioning. In addition, you will be part of the development of key operations systems and processes.
