Social Media has taken the turn of Slay Queens and Yahoo Boys showing their content on the various platforms that make up the entire social ecosystem in the Nigerian setting.

However, while a lot of Nigerians have clouded the social media space with their display of pseudo-wealth and affluence others have gone on to make a name for their brand through these webbed networks that have propelled them to great stardom.

Olajumoke the bread seller’s story was one of the most phenomenal trends on the Nigerian social space, from Photo-bombing a shoot by TY Bello, to become a global sensation, she is an epitome of how social media is potent enough to change your economic class and status in the click of one viral content.

Also then three-year-old Oluwatobila became a national sensation when his pictures perfectly photo-bombed a wedding picture. Nigerians became really empathetic with the Young Lad who had been abandoned by his mother with a jobless father, following through the tides, Nigerians made him a community child and decided to turn tables in his favour.

Recently, Instagram bore another fever with the trending video of five-year-old Tajudeen who had a similar story. The native Oyo born who seems such a very confident champ could not tell his age, because he said he had not been to school.

Tajudeen like those before him became the core of celebrity and public conversation and has since been moved to the state government.

It is funny how social media has moved from being just a get out spot to a discovery point in Nigerian. It also appears that virility across social media platform can be dictated by the originality of the content and the influencers behind it.
