All the teams from Africa which qualified for the 2018 World Cup tournament have officially exited the World Cup as Senegal lost their match today to their Colombian counterparts.

The match was a rather interesting one, this is due to the fact that Senegal was the last team representing Africa in the World Cup, as other teams, Nigeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt have already lost their matches and had earlier exited the tournament.

It is rather a painful one, as the continent will no longer be present at the World Cup. Per usual, it is easy to find fault within the intrigues of the match; probably the players did not put up their best or the referee was biased or even maybe Africa is under a curse for not going beyond the group stage this year.

Just like in Nigeria vs Argentina match, many will blame it on the video assistant referee (VAR) being trash and unnecessary.
