History will best remember VP Osinbaba as the highest ranking undertaker in government.

The type of beautiful coffins and nice cemetery he arranges for mass burials of innocent Nigerians cannot be forgotten. We cannot forget how eloquently he speaks at funerals or the speed with which he rushes to arrange burials.

This man is great indeed grin

Most Nigerians have taken it upon themselves to launch vicious attacks at this man. They have called him all sorts of names.

Osinbajo is in a revered position and it is normal for some set of people to always attack, however, in the face of these attacks, he keeps winning, he is still standing tall, he still remains the most active vice President in Nigeria. He has performed excellently well! Nothing can change that.

I love life and love every tribe equally. Anyone against life is against what I love, even the life of my enemy is important. I can not support people who doesn't value life, I can not be a party to violent. Beside, I don't know him, his ethnicity is never my problem. I have friends from every tribe. I disassociated myself from him the very day he made that comment. Why did I stand with Shia if I hate other tribe or religion.

He never made that comment because of Shia killings.

You don't stand with Shia, infact you hate Muslims. You just want to gain political capital from it. Igbos are happy about these killings just to paint buhari black.

We know your cries and empathy is all politics. You don't give a bleep about people being killed. If he doesn't visit the victims you will claim he doesn't care. Now he visits to sympathize with them you label him minister of condolence visits. You Igbos are too daft to disguise your true intentions.

What development are you talking about? Is Nigeria developed? One can not claim credit for development of Nigeria while Nigeria remains underdeveloped. For the sake of clarity, I would like to know what he has developed since 2015. I mean the projects he initiated and completed not the one the past government initiated or an ongoing projects that we don't know if they will complete it or not. Please note that I will verify them.

Oga seriously speaking, this defence is myopic lameless, baseless and simply self serving.
Please stop it, I dont know your interest or what you stand to gain.

First and foremost let me take you down the memory lane a bit.
When the APC party was formed, it had the issue that their first choices of candidate will be Muslim/muslim, knowing well that if they present it to the country, Christians will not be interested in the candidacy and in the party, to clear that notion and to prove to the Christian community that their Intrest is fully represented, Osibanjo was brought forth.
May I remind you that it was not Buhari that sourced for Osibanjo but Tinubu, and as such he is representing the Christian community in the party , and the Nation at large. Buhari had to accept him, of course considering his status as a Professor Of law, as a top Pastor in RCCG which obviously has one of the largest congregation Nationwide, and which other Christian denomination has great respect, regards and understanding with the G. O. RCCG, so simply put , Osibanjo rode on the goodwill of Daddy G. O. to garner Christian votes for this APC led government, and the entire Christian community voted for them with the hope that their interest will be fully and dully represented since politics is all about interest.

This move also seemed to have rubbished the news then that their was an Islamisation agenda.

Yes Osibanjo threw himself into the job no doubts, we saw his charisma in handling the Niger delta militancy and other situations that arose then, but then it also exposed a lot of things then, first and foremost why did Osibanjo not protest when all the security chiefs are from one religion?
Also during that time he held sway, the security chiefs were not attending security meetings called by the V. P.

We also saw when the stupid policy of retiring church founders and G. Os to retire at certain age or after certain years of service, forcing the very man whose goodwill he rode on to retire as the G. O of RCCG.

Yes Buhari will very well be happy with Osibanjo because from the look of things he seems to be more of a puppet than a V. P. which V. P also seems to confirm when he said Buhari treats him like a son, prompting the media to be awash with so many photoshopped pictures of the president baby feeding the V. P.

Osibanjo being under attacks is very normal and natural because the people who believe he is representing their Intrest don't feel safe anymore, with the recent events, it is believed that Christianity in Nigeria is gradually heading for extinction and our collective freedom of worship is being abused and threatened.

Those who are calling for his resignation believe that's the only thing that will prove he is not culpable with the recent calamities being meted to the Christian community and the Nigerian populace at large. It will also help elevate his integrity and image as a pastor and as a professor of law.

On your call for a Christian Christian candidacy, the day Nigeria opts for a Christian/Christian or Muslim/muslim candidacy, know that the end of the entity called Nigeria is near, but the truth is, with the recent unfolding of events, it is fast approaching.

At the end of your write up, I saw principal partner, if you are a principal partner of an organization and you put up this king of lame, myopic, biased and self serving write up, it simple makes one to wonder where this country is heading to, and little wonder things are the way they are in this country ( no offence meant please).

First, most of these accounts were created to defend these useless politicians.

Secondly, how come they dodged this post above quoting others and pretending like the above quoted post do not exist ?

These useless praise singers were gladly tagging along PYO when championing PMB presidential campaign. They now come to tell us how limited his powers are knowing fully well he was chosen to represent a section of a whole.

One sided appointments came, he did nothing, they said he can not do anything. Neglect of rule of law by principal officers in this administration, he did nothing, they said his powers are limited, now killings are going on and he is doing nothing because his powers are limited. Of what use is he then when we can all be killed while he stands watching as we get slaughtered just because his powers are limited ? When will his powers become useful for us, is it in the grave ?

1. "Kurtis" is a wrong spelling of his own name

2. Osinbajo was the lawyer and part and parcel of the Tinubu administration that cornered half of Lagos land and economy and turned Tinubu into a trillionaire and saw his companies collecting tax for the state as well as building roads for the state as well as collecting toll gates at Lekki and earning a huge life salary

3. Osinbajo is Head of the economic team that has seen millions of job losses and recession and most poor people in one country on planet earth

4. Osinbajo that said Magu must remain EFCC boss despite Senate rejecting him 3 times grin

5. Osinbajo that mai guard at seriki obalende palace put koboko on his neck to pose for picture when he went to campaign for Buhari before elections in 2015 grin

...please stop this nonsense. A man of integrity who knows that the govt he's part of is becoming something else will honourably resign. Until Osinbajo do the needful, the masses will always call him out because history will record it that it was in his/their tenure that most Nigerians were gunned down needlessly. This is really a dent on Osinbajo reputation.

I will say it, if Buhari was vice president and Fulani were being killed, that man would overthrow the president. Is it not the same Buhari that took a bus load of Fulani to the late Lam Adesina in Ogun State? The truth is Osinbajo knows what he is doing, he is just as responsible as the president.
What do we know him for, going on condolence visits, blowing big grammar etc. Why didn't he talk when all the service chiefs were picked from one region? Nonsense and Bakayoko...

If Osinbajo had any integrity he would have resigned from this incompetent, corrupt, tribalistic and bloodthirsty Buhari administration.

Of course we know he has none. If he did he would have told Buhari that murdering 1000 Shiites in Zaria or 100s of IPOB members in a church is a crime against humanity and that they will be accountable to International Criminal Court summons when they are out of office

Yemi Osinbajo, professor of law, SAN, is an accomplished professional. Unlike many of our politicians, he has a second address. In other words, outside of government, he can survive, and survive with panache. Before his current position, he was the Attorney-General of Lagos State for 8 years. He performed excellently.

Prof. Osibanjo, is also a senior pastor with the RCCG. He was the pastor in-charge at the Banana Island road branch, Ikoyi, Lagos, of the church. As the senior pastor of the church, he was known for his humility, frugality, and godly virtues. Osibanjo, unlike most of his colleagues who will seat in their high offices and delegate evangelism to others, was always on the roads, accompanied by his wife, Dolapo, preaching the gospel of Jesus. He is a self-effacing man!

VP Osinbajo, was not looking for a job when he was nominated by president Buhari as as running mate. President Buhari, on a mission to rescue Nigeria at the time was looking for a partner who is a man of proven integrity and honesty. He found in Osinbajo, the qualities he was looking for. He wasted no time in naming him after meeting him in Abuja. His choice, was a master stroke. Many Nigerians, received the news of his nomination with joy, and pledged their support. Buhari and Osinbajo were elected as president and vice-president of Nigeria under the APC, a party the opposition PDP, and CAN had described as a Muslim party. Some openly expressed their disdain with Osinbajo for accepting to serve under Buhari, a perceived Muslim extremist. They asked: why would Osinbajo a Christian and pastor, agree to serve under a Muslim?

Osinbajo threw himself into the job with dedication. As a senior lawyer, he knows the limits of the powers of his office. He knows he is not the president. He knows that he must remain loyal to the president, and do the jobs given to his office by the president. With a president on his seat, the only thing he can do is to advice the president. He cannot insist that his advice be followed. In the absence of the president, he becomes the Acting president. We are all witnesses to how he brilliantly and efficiently held the office in the absence of the president. He travelled to different parts of the country to reconcile the government with certain parts of the country. He implemented policies that strengthened the naira against the dollars following the positive outcome of his negotiations with the leaders and militant groups in the SS part of the country. He created a pervasive sense of unity, and remained loyal to the president by attributing everything he did to the president.

Osibanjo, is highly trusted by president Buhari. The president is so comfortable with him that he ceded the management of the nation’s economy to him. For a every critical assignment or mission, he is the go-to-man of the president. He has visited many conflict areas on behalf of the president. Many will remember that he is the first to visit and commiserate with communities that has been attacked by the Fulani Herdsmen. After the attacks on some Benue communities leading to egregious deaths and destruction, VP Osinbajo visited the state more than once in a month. He attended the funerals of some of the victims of the attacks, and gave a heartfelt address on that occasion.

Recently, VP Osinbajo, has come under attacks by some pastors and their supporters. Many are questioning why and how he can still claim to be a Christian and pastor, and remain in the government out to eliminate Christians and Christianity. They are calling on him to quit. This is to say the least, uncharitable!

Many of the pastors, making these calls, will not even consider resigning from their positions in their churches no matter how bad things are. They will also, no brook any opposition from any pastor under them. Any pastor under them that holds a contrary view on issues will be removed on the direction of some spirit. This is the truth! The same people are the ones asking Osinbajo to stand up and confront the president. I’m not against Osinbajo confronting the president, or resigning from his position if he thinks there reasons to do so, that is his call to make. I’m against those attacking for not leaving in pursuit of their narrow and selfish objective. VP Osinbajo, is not in government as a pastor. He is there as an administrator whose actions and inaction, are governed by the laws of the country. He took an oath that imposed a duty on him to be fair and just to all, irrespective of their tribes and religion. He is the vice-president of Nigeria, not of the Christians in Nigeria!

If the pastors, believe that Nigeria should be governed by Christians only, they can form a Christian party in Nigeria, and contest elections. This is the situation in some European countries. In 2019, VP Osinbajo, maybe on the ticket with Buhari hopefully, and we have the opportunity to decide his fate.

What many may not have adverted their minds to, is what the situation could have been without the moderating voice and influence of Osibanjo. If Mordecai had been in the palace to counsel Esther, the Jews would have been destroyed from the counsel of Hamman.

Let me conclude this piece by advising the pastors and their supporters to, spare Osinbajo from the needless attacks. The Muslim community is standing solidly behind Buhari, who is the leader, and on whose desk the buck stops. We are tearing at our own. The pastors, should devote their energies in raising up righteous men who will takeover the affairs of the country, and set us on the path to sustainable development. VP Osinbajo is not perfect, only God is!

God bless Nigeria.

There is one major reason why i don't think that i will ever value the personality of osibanjo even though i have always view him with scepticism, osibanjo prides himself as a proffessor of law n a christian pastor, the major reason why there was insistance for a christian vice to buhari was fear of the religious agenda of buhari n hence the need for a christian to serve as a watch dog n checkmate, osibanjo coming from tinubu created doubts right from the beginning, the one incident that has proven the uselessness of osibanjo is the leah sharibu case, osibanjo is the second in command n therefore in the know of the federal govt actions concerning the dapchi kidnapped girls if he is not then that is a catastrophe. The only reason leah is still be held is because of the refusal to renounce her christian faith, the leah issue is a direct challenge n test of osibanjos faith n integrity as a pastor, proffessor n commitment to protecting the christian intetest which is the major factor responsible for his position today but what have we seen,a disguasting display of feeble mindedness n cowardice.we all know what would have been the result if the situation is reversed, the christendom from all the country n indeed the world n heavens will be shaken to its roots if osibanjo boldly challenge the federal government to ensure the unconditional release of leah within 14days or he shall resign but im sure he would rather die than to that, this also remind me of the chibok parents who were decieve to believe that buhari will get back there girls but till today even the few that were released no one can actually say anything about there issue,so you may have earn you pay for your efforts at osibanjos image laundry but he is failure already but is anyone even suprised?.

The economy is statutorily within the purview of the office of the vice president. It is not at the whims and caprice of the president to decide though he can undermine his performance of that role

DrGoodman:
History will best remember VP Osinbaba as the highest ranking undertaker in government.

The type of beautiful coffins and nice cemetery he arranges for mass burials of innocent Nigerians cannot be forgotten. We cannot forget how eloquently he speaks at funerals or the speed with which he rushes to arrange burials.

This man is great indeed grin
If Osinbaba is upright as some people claim he should have humbly resign.

During the last administration things have damage beyond control and this present regime are trying to fix all those things.you will not argue it that despite plateau killings, the security of this country have change drastically under this regime.corruption is minimal compare to last regime and this administration is just 3 years old

Osinbanjo is have a fake hope to become the next president after Buhari.
but he never know that both of them must go back to their ancestral homes.
if Osinbanjo have good conscience as a good Christian,he should have long resigned and forget politics that are destroying lives

So that's why you people organise the killings, to make Osinbajo resign, cast the government in bad light and help to bring back the looting gang.

The blood of those people killed will make you all fail

I will say it, if Buhari was vice president and Fulani were being killed, that man would overthrow the president. Is it not the same Buhari that took a bus load of Fulani to the late Lam Adesina in Ogun State? The truth is Osinbajo knows what he is doing, he is just as responsible as the president.
What do we know him for, going on condolence visits, blowing big grammar etc. Why didn't he talk when all the service chiefs were picked from one region? Nonsense and Bakayoko...

Why didn't Samboribo resign when mosque was bombed and over 200 people were killed on the street in Kano in 2013? Why didn't you call for him to overthrow Jonathan when many moslems were killed under Jonathan.

You people just spew rubbish, say nonsense just because of blood money from desperate looting politicians who want to come back and resume where we stopped them in 2015.
