The day i stopped beleiveing news from the media was the day they said Boko Haram is killing people on Lagos-Ibadan expressway. They even went further circulating pictures depicting the bomb scene and causing unnecessary panic.

Everyone that is making this country inhabitable and circulating false information all about shall know no peace.

Although, the Government is not proactive enough and it makes it look like they are aiding the herdsmen, But the people circulating false statement are even adding to the wound, I just tire for this Country.
It's not that it look like it is obvious the government is in support of the killings

The comments from majority of people here shows extreme bias, arrogance and high level stupidity. Premium Times have come out publicly without anyone putting a gun on their throats and y'all still wilding and blaming the Fulanis again...what's you all problem in this life, what has the Fula man done to u that deserves this hatred?

We do not believe,period!!..It is not by force!!

.I stay in Abuja and know how FG is even arm-twisting and threatning Jugdes to give judgements in their favour...how much more hapless journalists...The thunderous media outrage over the senseless reason by Miyetti Allah caused Fg to panick and threatn Premium Times..EOD.

But it is too late!!!!!

Yes, Goodluck Jonathan is a herdsman from Kastina; and also a Fulani.

Don't change the narrative, my point was Buhari is not a member of Miyeti Allah

Jonathan is

Rubbish, too late damage already done because many would not see your retraction; while many more, due to earlier brainwashing would prefer to accept your initial misleading story.

Your lengthy explanation only exposes the unprofessional level of operations in many of the media houses (predominantly owned and controlled by PDP southern Christian, who are hell bent on discrediting the president, even if if it were at the expense of our national unity) who often rely on third hand information sourced from bloggers and other social media platforms without verification

It is common practice for these media houses to lazily attribute almost all killings to SUSPECTED herdsmen without having any interest or desire to investigate further as to whether the killings were truly committed by herdsmen or not

In this way the media had gradually helped to shape the mindset of Nigerians to criminalise a whole tribe rather than the few criminal individuals among them.

Note how most of these media outlets rushed to publish this false narrative when the story came out; also note now how many of them would shy away from similarly carrying this retraction in their headlines - their unfortunate divisive agenda will not work; their main target the, president, will still complete his 2nd term undaunted despite all their propaganda and sabotage; while haters can go and die.
