^ ^ LOL I don't think so sha, as long as South Africans are in the stadium the vuvuzela will be there. We must concede that it is a part of their football culture and thats why FIFA hasn't banned it. Imagine Nigeria's matches without the trumpets playing those familiar tunes, But then thats the downside; it completely drowns out everything else, every other 'cultural' football chant, and perhaps even the referee's whistle. The govt. has begged people not to blow during speeches and anthems and I doubt that they will listen. And just btw that thing is freaking haaaaaard to blow!!! |

Please, people tell the officials how irritating the vuvuzela is. They should scrap 'em when the game is on for everyone's sake. |

I guess after hearing the vuvezelas everywhere for tons of years, I've gotten used to it, doesn't annoy me watching it on TV. Although, I have to say that there's nothing more annoying than a person blowing it right behind your ear!! FL Gators:You can watch it on ESPN!! http://espn.go.com/espn3/# |

It's quite perplexing how the Southies enjoy from the monotonous and unmelodious tune of the vuvuzela. They must be very boring people. Funny thing is that they never run out of air blowing those things |
Re: Will You Be Watching The World Cup With Your Tv On Mute? by lizzybabe1(f): 12:10pm On Jun 12, 2010 |
I think they should blow it only when they (South Africa) are playing. But yesterday during Uruguay vs France, they still played it. I think that's taking it too far. |
Re: Will You Be Watching The World Cup With Your Tv On Mute? by gmailer: 2:57pm On Jun 14, 2010 |
