The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to Mr. Gabriel Suswam, former governor of Benue State, in the sum of N500 million with one surety in like sum.  He is facing a three-count charge of illegal possession of firearms and money laundering. Suswam was alleged to have illegally concealed weapons in his Mercedes Benz car, an offence, the Federal Government said was contrary to Section 3 of the Firearms Act Laws of Federation of Nigeria 2004. https://9gist.com/court-grant-ex-gov-suswam-n500-million-bail.html |
