The Consistent Neglects On Ikot Ekepene Road. by amaniro: 10:33am On Jul 08, 2018
It's no news that the ikot ekepene road is one of the most busiest road in the Southeast.
It's really appealing is also one of the very terrible road links, both past and presence administration have neglected this road, not only repairing it but it needs to be dualized
!!

FG have failed woefully in that aspect, and am also shading state government for not calling for the rehabilitation of this road. Calabar/uyo travelers must be conversant with the night mare this road brings!!
The road is the boundary between Abia state and akwaibom state

travelers will know what am talking about!

This road has been in state of disrepair since the 1970's.

I passed the road few days ago. While I agree the road needs to be dualized, that picture does not depict the current state of the road. It was patched and those huge areas with large pools of water have been fixed.

I think more emphasis needs to be put on the ikot-ekpene to calabar road. The road keeps getting fixed and getting bad almost instantly
