Gov.Ayodele Fayose has given a strict warning to anyone planning to rig the upcoming governorship election in the state.

Without mincing words, Gov.Fayose said those with plot to rig will be buried.
He stated this on saturday during a visit to Rivers State.

Fayose also alleged that there were plans to de-activate the voter cards of members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ahead of this Saturday’s governorship election in the state so as to frustrate members of the PDP and stop them from voting on election day.

“Their only strategy is how to rig, how to use police and how to use army but very soon they will wait in vain. On Saturday, we will bury them.
“Somebody just told me as I was coming here that they are trying to deactivate voter cards of PDP members from the system. May God help them. We are waiting for them.
“It is insane for anybody to want to rig election where you are not popular. If you try it, you should be ready to accept anything that happens to you,” he said.

I dont ses the reason why there will be problems in the election , Fayose is only spitting cold fire. He has serious problems and he knows .Just finding a way to excuse his imminent defeat of his Prof Alakara, the PDP candidate.
On the day of the election Fayose will be an ordinary voter. He will vote and be policed back home. No press conference until.after the election. He must be careful of playing into the hand of the law with inflammatory statements after the election and declaration of results.
By and large he will be invited under close security cover because he has tons of pending criminal.cases some in courts and some under investigation. The trick he used to escape during OBJ will be fruitless because he will be put under house arrest if he attempts any funny acts. I expect him to be given a close cover by a reinvigorated security details . He should just behave himsel or get a stretcher like his brothers

Rigging or no Rigging, Fayemi is already the incoming governor. Fayose should be thinking of more important things like getting mentoring from sambo dasuki.
