You need to call her and talk with her... What you're looking for is not far from you. Just be sure she's a trustworthy friend and she can get the money across to you.

for starters, opening one to receive this fund might end up getting your PayPal limited and your fund gone since it will be a new PayPal. it's risky. if you don't want your fund to get hooked, then look for exchanger.

to identify scammers, there is no straight way to do that because this is not a one on one transaction where you meet each others. I have been scammed several times on nairaland, so you just have to be careful. take note of the year the nairalander registered and also their activities. search their phone number online to see if anything pop-up against them.
