Jehovah Witness Is Built On Lies And False Teaching. Get Out Of That Cult! by Primesky(m): 8:39am On Jul 11, 2018
Jehovah witnesses or JWs are not Christians as some may assume. They do not believe in Jesus Christ as Christians do. They also do not believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, the resurrection of the dead and the oness of the God head. Apart from these however, there are many other contradictions they practice. But to position themselves as believers in Jesus when they're not, makes them altogether very dangerous!. This thread aims to expose some of these lies and help both their naive members and christians to know what they believe in, to the intent that they may be set free.

Note : Please, Jehovah witnesses are not devils, and should not be treated as such. They have been deceived and many of them do not know it. Let's show them the way, regardless of their arrogance and stance. Thank you.

The sect known as Jehovah’s Witnesses (JWs) began with Charles Taze Russell in the 1870’s. Russell was raised a Presbyterian, then joined the Congregational church, and was finally influenced by Adventist teachings. By his own admission, he had a hard time accepting the existence of hell. He sought out the Bible, and as his "studies" continued, he systematically began to reject the major doctrines of historic Christianity. He ultimately established his own belief system, and in 1879 he started publishing a magazine to promote his beliefs. This magazine was the precursor to today’s Watchtower (WT) magazine, by which Jehovah’s Witnesses are typically known.

In this tract we will examine five topics relating to Russell, the JWs, and their parent organization, the Watch Tower Society (WTS). We will show that the beliefs of JWs are unscriptural, and that both Russell and the WTS are completely unreliable as spiritual guides.

Is the Watch Tower Reliable?

In 1910 Russell wrote, "If anyone lays the Scripture Studies [short for a 7-volume WTS publication entitled Studies in the Scriptures, hereafter abbreviated as Studies] aside, even after he has used them, after he has become familiar with them, after he has read them for ten years—if he lays them aside and ignores them and goes to the Bible alone, though he has understood the Bible for ten years, our experience shows that within two years he goes into darkness. On the other hand, if he had merely read the Scripture Studies with their references and had not read a page of the Bible, as such, he will be in the light at the end of two years . . . " (WT Reprints, 9-15-1910, 4685). The WTS maintains that it is God’s reliable mouthpiece to the nations, and it claims to be God’s inspired prophet (WT, 4-1-1972, 197)—and yet its prophecies have repeatedly proven to be false. The only conclusion to be drawn is that the WTS is to be rejected as a false prophet.

Does it mean that only the watch tower can speak for God?.

Among other things, the WTS predicted the following:

1889 "The ‘battle of the great day of God almighty’ (Rev 16:14) which will end in AD 1914 . . . " (Studies, Vol. 2, 1908 edition, 101).

1891 "With the end of AD 1914, what God calls Babylon, and what men call Christendom, will have passed away, as already shown from prophecy" (Studies, Vol. 3, 153).

1894 "The end of 1914 is not the date for the beginning, but for the end of the time of trouble" (WT Reprints, 1-1-1894, 1605 and 1677).

1897 "Our Lord is now present, since October 1874 AD" (Studies, Vol. 4, 1897 edition, 621).
Really?, where's He?!

1916 "The six great 1000 year days beginning with Adam are ended, and that the great 7th day, the 1000 years of Christ’s reign began in 1873" (Studies, Vol. 2, p. 2 of foreword).

1917 "Scriptures . . . prove that the Lord’s Second Advent occurred in the fall of 1874" (Studies, Vol. 7, 68).
1918 "Therefore, we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the faithful prophets of old" (Millions Now Living Will Never Die, 89).

1922 "The date 1925 is even more distinctly indicated by the scriptures than 1914" (WT, 9-1-1922, 262).
1923 "1925 is definitely settled by the scriptures. As to Noah, the Christian now has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had upon which to base his faith in a coming deluge" (WT, 4-1-1923, 106).

1925 "The year of 1925 is here. . . . Christians should not be so deeply concerned about what may transpire this year" (WT, 1-1-1925, 3).

1931 "There was a measure of disappointment on the part of Jehovah’s faithful ones on earth concerning the dates 1914, 1918, & 1925 . . . and they also learned to quit fixing dates" (Vindication, 388, 389).

1939 "The disaster of Armageddon is just ahead" (Salvation, 361).

1941 "Armageddon is surely near . . . soon . . . within a few years" (Children, 10).

1946 "Armageddon . . . should come sometime before 1972" (They Have Found a Faith, 44).

1966 "Six thousand years from man’s creation will end in 1975, and the seventh period of a thousand years of human history will begin in the fall of 1975 C.E" (Life Everlasting in Freedom of the Sons of God, 29).

1968 "The end of the six thousand years of man’s history in the fall of 1975 is not tentative, but is accepted as a certain date" (WT, 1-1-1968, 271).

Besides false prophesies, the WTS has misled its members through countless changes in doctrine and practice:

"To worship Christ in any form cannot be wrong ... " (WT, 3-1880, 83). "It is unscriptural for worshippers of the living and true God to render worship to the Son of God, Jesus Christ" (WT, 11-1-1964, 671).

The men of Sodom will be resurrected (WT, 7-1879, 7-cool. The men of Sodom will not be resurrected (WT, 6-1-1952, 338).

The men of Sodom will be resurrected (WT 8-1-1965, 479). The men of Sodom will not be resurrected (WT 6-1-1988, 31). The men of Sodom will be resurrected (Live Forever, early ed., 179). The men of Sodom will not be resurrected (Live Forever, later ed., 179). The men of Sodom will be resurrected (Insight on the Scriptures, Vol. 2, 985). The men of Sodom will not be resurrected (Revelation: Its Grand Climax at Hand! 273).

"There could be nothing against our consciences in going into the army" (WT, 4-15-1903, 120). Due to conscience, Jehovah’s Witnesses must refuse military service (WT, 2-1-1951, 73).

"We may as well join in with the civilized world in celebrating the grand event [Christmas] . . . " (WT Reprints, 12-1-1904, 3468). "Christmas and its music are not from Jehovah . . . What is their source? . . . Satan the devil" (WT, 12-15-1983, 7).

"Everyone in America should take pleasure in displaying the American flag" (WT Reprints, 5-15-1917, 6068). The flag is "an idolatrous symbol" (Awake!, 9-8-71, 14).

A much longer list of such contradictions and doctrinal twists by the WTS could be formed, but this suffices to remove any reason one might have to believe that "It is through the columns of The Watchtower that Jehovah provides direction and constant scriptural counsel to his people . . . " (WT, 5-1-1964, 277). If that is the case, who is to say what will be taught tomorrow?

Cc. Can OneJ, Reofidelio and peacefullove tell us what is happening, why the confusion?.

Get free 10gb to any network with skyvpn
This how it works
1.you must use a referal link to download the app from google store
2.after successful download and installation of app you give 4gb for basic account and another 4gb for premium account.why?
The speed varies. The premium is faster than the basic. After you exhaust the free data giving to you on both the basic and the premium you then have to purchase data to continue browsing. And its quite cheat 5gb for 2dollars
3.step 2 gives you 8gb right? But I said 10gb.
Now to get the remaining 2gb you have to follow skyvpn on both facebook and Instagram. You will receive 1gb each, making it a total of free 10gb
4.here is the link to download the skyvpn. Like I said you must be referred.
Download SkyVPN to bypass any blocked website and app. Keep surfing activities private and anonymous. Get it at http://www.skydefend.net/fcp/?v=1&i=eyYx5g

Jesus commissioned a PREACHING and TEACHING campaign to promote God's government amongst mankind. Many people love Jesus because of His good works but He seriously warned those professing likeness for Him that there's nothing He can do to save them if they don't take necessary steps towards been saved. Jesus said it will be difficult to master all that He preached and taught by any individual but we just need to display unwavering faith in support of His program. Jesus said many people in this last days will be claiming they are His followers but there are few SIGNS to IDENTIFY His REAL followers during that puzzling times. (1) There is a purpose for Jesus' coming and everyone must know it so His true followers need to go and explain to others,Satan will make that difficult for them by recruiting agents in RELIGION to blur people's minds in order not to like Jesus' true followers so HATRED will be their lot in every land! Matthew 10:22 (2) Satan has been the ruler of the earth since the incident in the garden of Eden so POLITICS is another powerful tool in his hands and he has caught the attention of billions, making them to discriminate and kill one another for politics So to promote LOVE amongst all races,Jesus' true followers must never participate in the world politics. John 17:16 (3) Because of their LOVE for everyone Jesus' followers strongly believe all people must be given a fair chance no matter how wicked they seem to be,So no one must be killed for any reason whatsoever! Galatians 6:10 (4) Jesus' true followers are law abiding and submissive at all times. These are few signs to IDENTIFY the group producing the FRUIT of God's holy spirit and as imperfect humans those in this group may err severally but as long as they're coping with all these things apostle Paul said "against such,(group) there is NO law!" Galatians 5:23b Thanks for this post because it shows how you are feeling towards Jehovah's witnesses but nothing you said so far to discredit or condemned the group before God and man!

When and where did the Lord say you have to belong to a group to be saved?. Or where did He say, we must only listen to and be guided by a select individuals only. If that was the case, then why did He promise us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was so important that Jesus asked the disciples not to make a move until He comes.

The opportunity to hear the gospel and repent is not offered by any man but God. Stop this false teaching already!. We go and preach by the Lord's directive not because we felt. So if we don't feel, the people perish. In that case Paul too would have perished!

Where and when did Jesus tell you that you that it will be difficult to master all that He taught and preached?. Is it the same Jesus that said greater works than I did you will do, or is it a different Jesus?. He even promised us the Holy Spirit to teach us more and guide us, but you people have rejected Him and call Him a mere force.

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Did God tell us anywhere in the bible not to join in government?. Didn't God by himself anoint kings in the bible?. Why do you people say this?. Will Jesus then counter the work of the Father?. You're mistaken. So if war breaks out, the unbelievers will be the one to defend you, else you die?. If believers are not to take part in governernce, then they should not complain when bad policies are implemented, nor should they hide when violence break out, who will defend them?. The bible never said so.

1 Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

Is the above scripture now a lie?. Obviously not!.

This is what makes it difficult for people to understand your false teachings. You will quote the scriptures, twist it, make it look so true but it's all a lie. Deceptions will always look like the truth.

Please answer and explain the policy sumersualt in your religion, the fake prophecies, doctrinal changes. With that, how do you still expect someone to believe what the chief slaves are saying!. Their predictions have failed!. They said Jesus Christ is already here on earth, please show me where and how he came.

Very true. That's the catchy part. But their doctrinal believes are totally against the bible. Their beliefs about Jesus Christ makes him totally a different person from whom Christians know. If that be the case, then what is their faith?.

For instance, how can they say Jesus Christ is already here on earth, where is He exactly!. That's false teaching!. There are many more of such falsehood. The annoying thing to me is that some of them don't really understand this, and so they think they are saved. Just a few have realised this, and have quited. May God reveal Him self to them.

Jehovah's Witnesses deny the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. Instead they teach that Jesus' body was dissolved into gases. Charles Taze Russell, founder of the organization taught, "The man Jesus is dead, forever dead" (Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 5, 1899, p. 454).

However, the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus' body was raised back to life: For example, Luke 24:39 — "Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you see I have." See also — John 2:19-21; John 20:26-28; 1 Corinthians 15:6,14.

I really love their awake magazine as it has been helpful and to an extent truthful but I have a problem with some of their teachings. All their prophecies have being inconsistent and thus failed woefully. There is problem some where. God doesn't lie and Jehovah Witnesses have lied and deceived many for centuries.

Imagine their teachings on blood transfusion, 144, 000 going to heaven only, Non existence of hell, denying the personality of the holy spirit. Abegi!

Thanks to Jesus. I read my Bible and understand fully and not in parts.

Nsogbu!

Not just JW but most churches (about 99.9%) are not preaching the truth about Jesus and why he came to die for us. Anybody who claim he/she is a true Christian, and is a member of any church is making a big mistake. All present organizations called church is what the devil is using to mislead the members that call themself Christians. Come out from that organization (church) and let Jesus set you free, only then will you see the light. A true Christian's faith should be tied directly to only God through Jesus, any other thing is false. The moment you join an organization (church), you have added another layer to connect to God. The moment you are out of that organization (church), you will realize from outside, from the smallest to the biggest church, from the poorest to the richest church, can be sumed up as one giant organization of CONFUSION and CONTRADICTION. Trust me, Jesus is not confusion, the words spoken by Jesus and the apostles are not confusion, neither do they contradict. The only way you will get the truth is by critically sturding the Bible and let God lead you to the truth.

My brother, the corruption is too much. Many churches this days are scam centers. Now, they're twisting the scriptures, misinterpreting and misquoting it to support selfish motives. How is it that men don't fear God?. It's a terrible thing to joke with the heart beat of God. Me I think it will be better for a terrorist and an armed robber on the judgement day, than the one who in the name of church and God deceives another.

However, my dear, we cannot totally neglect the church or the gathering together of ourselves. Doing so will be acting and living in disobedience to the command of the bible. This is one thing I believe the enemy wants to achieve by planting falsehood all over the place, Because he knows that if we're united, we are more powerful. We however, must be careful how we interact with these people. We need to know the Lord personally.

If we leave the church, the enemy will take over it. We must continue to expose the lies of Satan in the house of God, and pray that God will cleans His house of robbers and thieves. While we do this, we must be watchful and prayerful, so that we don't get drowned along with the drowning. Care must be taken in as much as we want to help them. Depend always on the grace and mercy of God.

Jesus Christ is Lord over His church forever!

The gathering of Christians is very important to build our faith etc, but it is wrong to gather in a place where the truth is not being preached 100% of the time, and the manner of our present association is wrong. The moment we choose to be a member of a particular church, we are indirectly segregating, the moment we walk pass a church in our neurborhood to go worship with another church in another location, we are segregating, and that is wrong. The moment we give a church a name, we have differentiated it, because as a Christian u are already a member of the church of Jesus, you don't need to be a member of another one. Let us take the early Christians as example, in the days of the apostles, they have lots of Christians in different cities at that time, they also gather at different location, they have different peope leading them but at no time did they give their self different name, if they want to refer to the Christians in a particular place they call them the church( the Christians) at the name of the place, example they will refer to the Christians in Lagos as the church in Lagos, because there is no division among them. This present church system we have now is exactly what (1Corinthians 3) is warning against, so it is very important a true Christian should get out of it.

Christianity itself is built on falsehood and a lie, as they was or is no jesus of history...

So you will do yourself a whole lot of good if you get out of it..

I agree with you totally!. This is what division has done to us. Each denomination with its own doctrine based on their own interpretation of the bible. Hmm...

Then what we must do now is to depend on God's Holy Spirit to guide us. Yes, He can tell you where to go and where not to go. The church belongs to Jesus Christ and not to any 'daddy G.O'. May God help us and may He rebuild His church in truth and righteousness.

Thanks dear.

You are right, but the moment we step into a building that has been named, we are entering an organization that is owned and controlled by someone here on earth. True Christians that wants to come together to worship can gather in any location, it can be in a house, a field etc, it does not have to be in a named building called church. The true church which is you, me, and other Christians out there don't need a building before we can worship God. Most of us believe it is the coming together of Christians to worship, that is how we will make heaven not knowing that even the gathering of Christians does not quaranty in anyway access to the the kingdom of God, the only way is by serving, following the commandment of God in all we do 24/7 faithfuly.
