You've said it all. It seems the present troops of young soldiers these days in Nigeria are retards with little balls. Half of what happened during Jonathan era and this era couldn't have happened to the kind of soldiers in Nigeria in the 70's or 80's without them asking questions and planning coup. More than three bloody coup against their commanders and the government of the day would have surfaced it's not easy though, but their sufferings and killings are just too much. it's just as if they remain there just to die. The army haven't had it so bad. They're so weak and fearful that the evil from these civilian elites have colonized their mentality, hence, they can't get and set abnormal things right in the country. They themselves have become needless preys instead of being the predator that challenges evil from whatever quarters. Seriously, young officers with good mind ought to have dealt with some of their ogas and those useless babariga wearing northern elites wasting their lives for nothing.

Abi nah. 68 soldiers died as a result of to leadership failure and imstitutional corription and imeptitude...they are now complaining to us downtrodden helpless, bloody civilian with zero access to weapon...are we to help them cry ni or we should help them attack the evil leaders? They need to understand if they continue to do nothing, they will all die there, and these evil politicians will use them to score point. Not the present day military. The present day military has been politicised. They work for politicians. Politicians use them to achieve their selfish ambition. Here are more pictures of soldiers who were killed after suspected Boko Haram militants overran a military base in Yobe State on Saturday.

It was reported that many Boko Haram militants dressed in military apparel and armed with sophisticated weapons got access to a military facility in Jilli, a village in Yobe State close to the border with Borno State in the fringes of Lake Chad.

Before the invasion, the base had around 750 troops manning it, adding that the facility was established to contain the movement of Boko Haram terrorists’ along the Chad Basin.

Jilli village is located 60km from Gaidam, the headquarters of Gaidam local Government of Yobe State.

A soldier who survived the attack reportedly said that the terrorists went to the military facility in fleet of military painted vehicles with camouflage colours.

“There was trench around the base, but they confidently approached the gate and we opened it thinking they were troops from Gubio. They started shooting and we engaged them before they overran us,” he said.
