JOB SUMMARY
Oversees the operations of site laboratory facility including the review, interpretation and analysis of hydrocarbons, chemicals, water and various other substances, and diagnostic tests to ensure only acceptable waste materials are utilized at the facility. Participates as a member of the site management team and makes recommendations for budgeting, goals and strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform a variety of quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests and analysis of gas, hydrocarbon, chemicals, water and various other
substances, in accordance with established testing methods and instructions.

2. Under broad direction, provides cementing, fracturing, coil tubing lab design to customers.

3. Customized cement slurry for daily operation and tender: casing, liner, plug, squeeze. Serve high density cement slurry up to 22 ppg,
light slurry up to 7 ppg, deep water, and horizontal well and long liner well.

4. Customized stimulation fluid for job: fracturing, matric acidizing, water shut off, and etc.

5. Focal point of cementing and stimulation lab activity.

6. Giving of formal training to subordinates in general chemistry, cementing and stimulation lab design, calculations, routine and specialized
testing.

7. Analyse, compute and record sample test data and results, using computer controlled laboratory apparatus and instruments in
conjunction with the integrated LIMS automatic data transfer system.

8. Ensure that all equipment are operated safely, maintained, calibrated, troubleshooting.

9. Participate and responsible in job execution at offshore and onshore for QA/QC fluid design both Cementing and Fracturing.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years’ experience in Cementing Field Operations
Have Oil Well Cement Design Experience
Qualification - Bachelor Degree / HND in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
