Re: Ghana Listed On Craigslist, No Nigeria! by seanet02: 9:15am On Jun 14, 2010 |
They dont display many iboris, ibbs, obj, annenihs, ubas, yerima, bankole, etteh, harliburton, siemens, daniel, ohakin, uduahan, yuguda amd all this morons parading themselves as rulers. How many time have you seen the inspector general of police of this people arraigned and jailed for embezzling billions of dollars meant for the welfare of the policeman, they have at least 18hrs of electricity everyday, how about Nigeria. We dont have any ideas in this country and where we have we fail to act due to selfish interest. They have moral justification for any acts their govt take, unlike our own useless politicians cum thieves. |

Seriously speaking, who needs a craigslist when we have an equally active Nairalist ? Aloy+Emeka: This is the major problem with Nigerians like you. You allow other subliminal things of insignificance get to you. Who cares if not international ? 1 Like 1 Share |

hatch#: Arrogance is one of our major problems in Nigeria. We may not need a Craigslist but our exclusion from it is an indication of a problem with our country. 1 Like |

Pfft. Mainly jobless people use or even care about Craigslist on that level. Besides, I'm tired of this 'the grass is greener' mentality of NLers. Just because Ghana has something, we're supposed to feel left out or what? At the end of the day, we're still the giant of Africa and that says a lot considering the leadership that we are suffering under. Let Ghana have Craigslist and their demented killers and we'll keep our Nairalist. *sigh* People and their follow, follow attitudes. |

@travelista did i hear you said Nigeria is the giant of africa? Un you amazes me, when countries like swaziland has a better gdp than your giant of aso rock. Whe are only fooling our senses if we believe we are giants. No water, no electricity, poor roads that are death traps, election being rigged in broad day light, our speaker buying a torch light with $530 when the one i bought with N150 sees better than it. Our presidents wife being accosted at the airport with millions of dollars which she can not give a reasonable explanation for, a nation that spent a whopping 18 billion dollars on electricity without a single megawatt being added to the National grid. Truly we are the giant of africa 1 Like |

Re: Ghana Listed On Craigslist, No Nigeria! by Nobody: 5:56pm On Jun 14, 2010 |
Craigslist will be good for lagos but simply cause we are not on the list don't mean a thing. We can have another site for ourselves. London is listed on craigslist but it's barely active while gumtree is to Londoners what craigslist is to America. Stop reading into everything. Aloy emeka this isn't political it's just that Nigeria has a bad cyber reputation. You still are a reatard though!!! 1 Like |

Nigeria does not have to be on craiglists for Nigerians to show up there. I use craiglists for just about everything as it is really convenient way to link people in different places with each other. I remember using Craiglist for apartment hunting. I sent emails to some of the posters expecting to be shown the apartment or sent more information on the listings. Two of the listers ended up being scammers claiming to be in Nigeria on vacation, and suggesting I not worry about seeing the apartment but instead send them the rent so they can send me the key. I was also given a number to call( Lagos). I reported the scam listings(turned out this lister had at least 10 of such per week) to Craiglist. SLIGHT:I am not sure where you live but craigslists is a BIG DEAL . . . it is sort of compared in many reports to Ebay. Billions of dollars exchange hands each year between people on craigslist. |
Re: Ghana Listed On Craigslist, No Nigeria! by naijaking1: 6:27pm On Jun 14, 2010 |
Nigerians can place Nigeria on craigslist if they want, they just have to continously request it. |

Aloy+Emeka: So, I'm country because I love Nigeria? I don't blame you, sha. Growing up wretched must have truly warped your sense of what it means to have pride in your homeland. |

So, what is the big deal about having Ghana on craiglist, and Nigeria off. |
Re: Ghana Listed On Craigslist, No Nigeria! by Kobojunkie: 7:15pm On Jun 14, 2010 |
Travelista: The statement in bold is very silly and uncivilized. Why denigrate those who use it all because you only just now realized Nigeria does not have a craigslist face? Do you find it necessary to RUN EVERYTHING else under the bus so you can find some meaningless good thing to say/or proclaim of your love for Nigeria? You do know it is possible to be HONEST and still love your Nigeria at the same time? |

The reason is one word: FRAUD Nigerians still lead the world in notoriety when it comes to fraud. The painful part is that Nigerians are not even the most fraudulent in the world. We are just the dumbest fraudsters. |

Eddeux: lyfe: Onlytruth: Most times, i'm a very rational person, so i'm am asking how the absence of a Nigeria section on craiglist will help prevent Nigerian fraudsters from getting on craiglist. I hope i can get a rational explanation. |
Re: Ghana Listed On Craigslist, No Nigeria! by Beaf: 4:05am On Jun 15, 2010 |
Craiglist is known for fraud and underhand deals, anyway. They've just taken the cheapest route by excluding Nigeria, because we have foolishly allowed ourselves to be labelled fraudulent. You will understand what I'm talking about when you check Craiglist and find that Italy (mafia, local and abroad) is listed, you will also find that China is listed (snakeheads, home and abroad), you will find the UK on the list (despite that it is legal to advertise businesses, that are clearly illegal in mags like loot and exchange and mart etc), you will find the US on the list (global financial meltdown, Enron, Madoff etc). It is the fault of past Nigerian govts, that our name has been so soiled - not that we aren't bad - it's just that, many are worse (except, they've got legal loopholes and govt itself isn't corrupt). Who gives a damn about Craiglist anyway? |
