remember, the reason why CR7 or Messi score that much goals is A) because they are good like many other out there (aka Neymar Mbappe etc,) but most importantly B) because the team strategy revolves around getting them the ball AND having great players within the "whole" team. if you think that Real Madrid or Barcelona would suddenly be relegated or stop winning trophies when these 2 are gone then you are fooling yourself. these teams won trophies BEFORE cr7 and Messi, and they will certainly win trophy well after they are gone.

without all these other fantastic players in their team, CR7 and Messi wouldnt do shiit, and thats why they fail so miserably during international duties for their country, when their fantastic teamate are not there any longer.

thats not true.... when signed, his contract at Madrid was of about 25M per year with a possible raise of €2M per year, with a max salary of NO more than €30M... so this year they renegociated his contract and offered him €26/28M as a new salary, but sadly, Ronaldo this year wanted to receive no less than €40M to at least get a better salary than Neymar (who is making €35M), and closer to Messi's salary (€45M). so Madrid refused, off course, and let him go while cashing out.
