Tragedy struck earlier today at Agege axis of Lagos state. It occured when a train crushed a commercial bus commonly referred to as “danfo”.

Eye witnesses reported that the train derailed from its track in order to avoid a collision with the commercial bus that parked on the railway track. The reason why the bus driver parked his bus on the railway track is yet to be determined.

On sighting the stationary danfo on the train track, the train driver started blaring his horn as a signal to the bus driver to drive the bus off the track.

However, and ostensibly due to panic, the driver could not drive his car out of the way. Instead, he reversed the bus, which led to the collision with the oncoming train.

Many are feared dead from the accident. Several people who hung on top of the train fell off and were injured as a result of the impact from the train’s collision with the danfo.

The driver was said to have rushed to the toilet without parking his bus properly closed to the railway. It was learnt that he was warned before leaving for toilet but won't listen because he was seriously pressed.
Unfortunately, train came before the drivers arrival and the train hit part of the bus that shoot out on the rail. The effect of collision fell those passengers not properly hang. Report had it that two died while others had legs and hands cut off
The driver is at large after gotten the information and mobs burnt his bus because he couldn't listen and cause the accident
Drivers at the area were throwing stones and police were shooting, I think to calm the situation but there's peace in the area now

I am still waiting for those that will shift the blame on President Buhari....when is Nigerians gonna stop hanging on the train??
